This book in my world history class made learning fun.

I've been reading his work since 1965, and his wit and tongue in cheek comments along with his review of 'history' have never failed to be interesting. You won't laugh out loud, but you will smile at his use of humour and the words he chooses. He wrote for a long time, on a lot of subjects, and he never failed to deliver, especially if you weren't in a good mood, he can lift it as you think about what you read. Worthwhile to have in you library.
