"A delightfully funny and romantic novel, rich with vivid descriptions of the Tuscan countryside and people who seem more like friends than characters on a page." ~ A. Hardgrave, Amazon Customer
"A romantic setting, irresistible men, and loving family relationships make this a beautiful, memorable story. If you've ever dreamed of visiting Italy, All the Way to Heaven will take you there." ~ Heather Day Gilbert, USA Today Bestselling Author
"This book came to me by way of a recommendation from a respected writer-friend, who thought I would enjoy it. "Lyrical," she called it, and "an adventure to another country." She was absolutely right on all counts....[All the Way to Heaven's] wholesome romance and light inspirational touch will delight a much wider audience, from teen to mom (that's me) to octogenarian." ~ Katherine Scott Jones, Author and Reviewer
"I loved all the characters in this book. It felt like family and settled around me like a warm blanket. I just don't think I can say enough about how much I enjoyed my time with this book. It fit right in my happiest place for reading - clean romance that sweeps me away to a far off place. I could see, smell, and even taste things in this book. All my sense were on high alert and that is hard to come by in a book." ~ Aimee Brown, Getting Your Read On
From the Author
When news reports began airing, labeling 2014 "The Black Year" for Italian olive growers, it felt like the opportune time to bring Lucca, also renowned for its unique olive oils, out of the idea box and onto the pages of All the Way to Heaven. I do hope you enjoy Ani's journey through the Tuscan countryside as she gains a better understanding of who she is and what she wants out of life in this coming of age novel.
All the Way to Heaven is the first book in THE FALLOUT SERIES. Book 2, A Light in the Dark, follows the story of Ani's best friend back home in Midtown, California, and Book 3, A Long Way Home, features Tish's brother, an endearing character you'll meet in Book 2.
I hope you enjoy getting to know these friends and families who live on Maple Avenue in Midtown, Southern California. Although Midtown is a fabricated place, it is loosely based off the city of Redlands, California. So far, all my novels either take place in Midtown or are about characters who came from Midtown. If you pay attention, you'll find familiar settings and people crossing paths from one novel to another, and from one series to another, as well.
