This book favors men’s opinions over God’s holy and truthful words
The opening of a book is a lens/insight into the intentions of the writer. It is written to frame the entire book. Upon reading merely the first chapter, I noted the second paragraph in the first chapter favors higher criticism and evolution (man’s inventions and thoughts) over God’s literal words and testimony of how he created Eve (see attached photo). Can you trust a book that favors men’s thoughts and hypothesis over what God has said? He is God—He does not lie and he promises to preserve his Word for all generations. His word is TRUTH and it is perfect...don’t question it. If you do question it, then you lack faith and need to ask God to help your unbelief.Who is your final authority of not the word of God?...Yourself? Science? Doctrine?Bible believers: beware. do not buy this book. Read your Bible instead. It doesn’t contradict itself, and it does not favor the flawed thoughts and follies of men over God as the Bible is perfect and holy. God promises it. The Bible is not a fable, it is not a metaphor...it is literal. What did Satan say to Eve in the garden?...he made Eve question God’s words and sin entered the world (read Genesis 3:1-7).The Bible warns us against false teachers including false commentary which questions God’s authority as in the second paragraph of “All the women of the Bible”. This shouldn’t be taken lightly...”a little leaven leaventh the whole lump” (Galatians 5:9). Here are just a few verses that warn us:“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”Romans 16:17-18“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”Matthew 7:15“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”Colossians 2:8“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”2 Timothy 4:3-4“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”Ephesians 5:11
