All the World's a Stage has been newly-remastered on 200-gram, heavyweight vinyl at legendary Abbey Road Studios using the Direct to Metal Mastering (DMM) audiophile copper plating process, all from original analogue masters. This 1976 double-live album was recorded at Toronto's Massey Hall June 11-13, during the band's 2112 tour, with the title a nod to William Shakespeare. The record climbed to #40 on the U.S. Billboard chart, and going platinum in the States and Canada. The original vinyl edition was formatted for auto-change continual play turntables and this edition matches that original vinyl release with LP one featuring sides A & D and LP 2 featuring sides B & C.

Note: You have to like early Rush to like this album though as it is more conceptual and "prog" rock as the more popular songs of later Rush.
There are several live albums that are required for a classic rock lover's library and this Rush offering should be one of them. The other live albums to include: Thin Lizzy's "Live and Dangerous", UFO's "Strangers in the Night", Deep Purple's "Live in Japan". All of these albums include great interaction between group and crowd and the feel that you are there.
I've always loved the rawness in the recording of this classic live album. The songs are fantastic. Has the whole 2112, and a rare live of By-tor and Snow Dog. There's even a Peart drum solo, and how can you not like Working Man, Anthem, Fly by Night, etc.? A must have for any Rush fan!
