I replaced a cheap Walmart flag that was shredded after only 6 months. I am very impressed with this flag! The quality is fantastic, with embroidered stars and sewn stripes. It went together easily, and the spinning pole is great. No more flag wrapping to the pole! The only real issue I have is that the pole is only 5' long. 6' would have been much better. I do worry about premature wear from the flag brushing on my patio roof. I also worry about whether the mount will snap off, as reported by other reviewers, because the area I live in is frequently windy. If the mount holds up, I will probably add a star to this review.
Update May 8 2018. The flag is starting to tatter on the edge, and the stars are now on an almost powder blue field. The blue has really faded while the red and while stripes still look good. I will have to replace the flag soon after less than a year.up The mount, however is still holding strong. I may help that I have it at the 90 degree angle.
Update August 16 2018 The mount finally broke off today. Over a period of 15 months, I have replaced the flag, and the pole because it needed to be longer, and now the mount because it broke.

The FLAG IS EXCELLENT! We have a light to shine on the flag and typically display it 24/7; only removing it during significant storms when we are experiencing high wind speed. After displaying the flag for 500+ days it looks like it is new.
The flagpole, on the other hand, is a totally different story. In spite of the manufacturer’s statement, “Spinning flag poles assure your flag is always hanging as intended, and is not wrapped around the pole. Internal weather-proofed ball bearings ensure your flag can spin freely without getting tangled,” we have to unwrap the flag at least daily and very often we unwrap the flag from around the flagpole multiple times in a day. Now, it does unwrap easily so the ball bearings mentioned apparently allow easy movement, but the FLAGPOLE DOES NOT work as advertised.
Incidentally, the picture attached to this review was taken approximately 10 minutes after I unwrapped it from being tangled around the flagpole today. So far, the highest wind I find recorded on any weather app for today has been 9mph; that should not cause the flag to wrap around the flagpole.
