AVOID! How can you make such a simple thing so poorly? The connector is listed as having 16awg wire, it is 18awg at best. But far worse than that are how the actual plug-end connectors fit together. I understand that you want something that fits together well and will hold tight, but this is ridiculous.
Right out of the package you can not get the plugs to seat properly without a tremendous amount of force. Good luck when you try to get them apart. I would think that after about 100 plug/unplug cycles, they may start to loosen up as to where you can use it. Right out of the package this is not a quick connect/disconnect plug, but it might be after a day of plugging and unplugging. If you bought this and are going to install it in a hard-to-reach area where you need a quick and easy disconnect, be sure to take the time to break this in.
In short though, avoid this plug connector and buy something better. This was made to the lowest standard of quality that Allstar Performance would accept, I do not accept this level of quality and it will be returned. This one is not worth your time and aggravation.
