This tool is also branded Husky for Home Depot. It is the best caulking tool I've found, by far. It is my second one. I caulk about 50 tubes of silicone a year with it and with the following tips it will stand up to your commercial use pretty good for a $5 tool. I suggest:
Clean the rubber 3-way tip every time you put it down. 100% silicone can't be removed with solvent, it must be shaved off with a razor once cured even a little. This is the reason I'm retiring my first tool.
Here's another tip to help the stainless caulk remover last: my first one snapped off after about 5 bathrooms (hotel maintenance man here). It's barely attached from the Chinese factory, but it works very well. My new one got a continuous ring of JB Steel Stick epoxy around the joint and I think it's going to make it much less prone to breaking off. See the photo of my modification. Enjoy!
