I am allergic to wheat, gluten and eggs, which makes it very difficult to eat anything. I am very glad I found this book since I can now eat a lot of things I have not been able to eat before. The book has some great recipes such as pancakes, waffles, breads, granola bars, cookies and much, much more. The other thing I liked about this book is that most of the ingredient lists are pretty short. I do not like it when I look at a recipe and there is a very long list of ingredients. Cooking is not one of my favorite things so I want short recipes with good taste, and this book does that. I just got the book about a week ago so I have only made the pancakes and waffles but there are many more recipes I am going to make. The pancakes and waffles were great. Buy this book. I am sure you will be happy with it.

I know the price is low, but I was surprised at how small the book is. I guess I should have looked closer. It has no pictures and the instructions are lacking. You have to read the whole recipe several times to figure out how to put the recipes together. I have 40 years of cooking and baking experience and can figure them out, but if you don't you might want to try another cookbook. "The Healthy Gluten Free Life," and "Against all Grain" are unbelievable for the Gluten intolerant. Huge volumes, beautiful pictures and clear instructions. I would buy any books from both of those authors.

This is a great book. It is well written and easy to read. The author includes information on how to make your own almond flour and meal, as well as health information on why almond flour is so good for you. She has specific information on several popular diets and how almond flour fits in to the requirements, which I thought was helpful.

The recipes are the real jewel in this book, though! They are amazing!!!! She includes a bunch of delectable recipes. I've tried a couple so far and they were fantastic. I can't wait to make more of them. If you've had to go gluten free for health reasons but miss your delicious baked goods, you do not want to miss this book!

This book is well worth the money!

I found the book very informative. I've been an alternative chef for over forty years, and this takes a lot of the guessing out of changing traditional recipes into healthier, but still delicious options. I have used almond flour for a long time, so I'm already a fan, but I don't think everybody has access to some of the ingredients included here, like Xanthan gum, or small local local almond growers, but any upgrade from the refined commercial junk being marketed today is a better choice, so I feel this book offers some very good recipes to start making changes to better health.

I didn't add the cocoa and I used maple syrup instead of sugar- I left out the water. I used coconut butter instead of oil or margarine. Wow, it came out moist and delicious after 60 seconds in the microwave. I liked the pudding cake texture but it would have been more like a cupcake or muffin had I cooked it longer. This one recipe was worth the price of the cookbook alone because, as I have described, you can use it as a base to adjust to your tastes or the contents of your cupboard.

As being very new to the gluten-free way of eating, I found this book contained very good information and great recipes. The pictures are wonderful and the book is well organized. With all the gluten-free craze that is up on us, i found this book to be a great start in learning this new way of eating.

I do like this book.
The author explains nutritional benefits and a a few difficulties such as the differences it can create in baking a cooking times changing. We are then treated to some lovely and varied recipes - nothing elaborate, all "quick and easy" category which suits me.
I took 1 star for not having any photographs. They do punctuate recipe books but also are really helpful in being able to see where you are aiming for. I do not envisage any difficulties here.
There seems to be some error, irritating blank pages in the middle of several recipes that need to be corrected so that the book has a better reading flow.
