The beauty of it is in its simple teachings and honesty.
It is true that each one of us has its own ocean to cross sometime though.
In his book Alex teaches us where to find the courage to cross our oceans and shows us in a genuine way what it means to be afraid yet to pursue our dreams.
I wish the book had more detailed and was longer.
Wonderful book, great gift for any friend with a little adventure in themself. Pietro
In addition to Alex's tale, you hear the heart wrenching side of the story from his wife. You accompany her on her own emotional adventure as she rides the peaks and valleys of fear and joy as her husband departs, struggles, and (spoiler) ultimately arrives.
This is a fantastic book that captures a story of love as well as a story of adventure. Highly recommended!
