These blasters are really great. The app integration is great, if you choose to use it. Also contrary to what many reviews say you CAN control the blaster's volume level from the app. For the price this is really alot of fun for your buck.
2 small gripes not worth taking a star for:
A: The 2 pack DOES NOT come with the blaster phone attachment and as of now it doesn't seem like it can be purchased separately. Without the attachment the single player AR game is not very fun or engaging. Also there is at least one power up that is unlocked by way of said AR single player game.
B: The 2 pack is cheaper than the single blaster. Makes no sense. EDIT: *\Seems like this is just an Amazon thing; one gun is ~$30 from Nerf's site.
All in all, well done Nerf; I'm particularly surprised that the app is as good as it is.

I'm going to start this review off at 3 stars unfortunately, because right out of the box, I put the batteries into the battery compartment and it has caused stress cracks on the frame. I'm scared that if I remove and replace the batteries a few times it's going to completely crack the housing, rendering one of the two blasters useless.The box picture used on Amazon's description is also incorrect, as the blasters require 8 total batteries (4 per) not the 6AA shown.I will update my rating depending on how the cracked battery housing holds up after a few play sessions.

We were on a walk the other day and saw a group of 8 boys playing with these guns. They were having a great time in the woods so I ordered two for my boys.
They have not stopped running around the house since they arrived. The guns make noise, so except lots of zapping and beeping. The accuracy appears to be pretty good as does the range.
The guns can be used without needing a mobile phone to play with or set up, but the use of the app does make the guns more fun.
The app allows you to track stats at the end of a game and I think it allows you to upgrade your gun with added power/health/faster reloads etc.
We’re off the the forest soon to try the outdoor mode. And I think I might have to buy a set for us grownups to we can join in.
