In some ways a sweet love story in others a battle of the strongest. Her family is in trouble and she confides in her best friend, she is from another pack though and tells her Alpha brother. He says he can help if she is willing to agree to move in with him for six months. What follows is proving she can be an Alpha female and learning to trust people other than her own pack and family. There is some violence, these are wolf shifters and they do fight. I had to believe at one point that what I was reading wasn't true, I felt these two characters were so suited to each other and that time would prove me right. I loved it.

Alpha goes after what he wants

Sometimes you just can't wait. I loved how Lucas knew that Caleigh was one day going to be his so he took advantage of the situation she was in and made her his before she went into her heat when her true mate could be determined. There were fights along the way and a setup but they finally were able to reach their HEA. As a Howls romance, this is a short story and can be read quickly. It makes the author condense the story but this one does not suffer from that. I found it entertaining and was rooting for Caleigh and Lucas.

This book has it all… secrets, lust, heartbreak, love and happily ever after. The chemistry between Luca and Cal sets the book on fire. When I started this book I was not sure how it would turn out, that in itself kept me reading. The determination in Luca and the willingness of Cal only made the story better. With each book in this series, I can’t wait for the next one so I can see where the packs may go. I was lucky to have able to read this book as part of Ryan Michele ARC. This is one I will read again.

I love shifter and fated mate stories. Ryan Michele has delivered a story that is just that. Luca & Cal have known each other since they were kids. I enjoyed some of the glimpses we were given of them as children. As a reader it was very believable that they were mates. Luca & Cal's story is passionate & fun. There is action as well. I just wish that Cal hadn't heard him having sex with other she wolves.

This is one of my fav wolf shifter books. It has all elements. It's hot, catchy and has alpha hero I adore and strong alpha heroine that I love. Add some drama, which I love and it's a perfect few hours of awesome read.
