God have mercy these books are good. Nora Phoenix, I have no idea what we did to deserve such a gifted writer with a deep and profound sensitivity to the world and human nature, but please never stop writing. You are a treasure & a gift to us all.
I can't wait to read the next book featuring this particular trio--I feel like we're just scratching the surface of their relationship! I'm very excited to see how Sivney grows into himself in the next book. Outside of the romance, I'm getting so anxious to see how the IO world will shape up. Right now things in the city seem so uncertain, and even at the ranch there's been lots of changes. (Palani, are you okay???)
If you’ve kept up with this series, you know things are heating up. The prophecies of old are coming true and more and more are seeking the true nature of the old ways. The real sense of home and knowing they will be safe somewhere. With attacks in one corner and murders of high ranking officials in another, the city is becoming a very bad place. More are seeking refuge from it all at the ranch. But what is becoming even more a thing, is true fated mates are popping up everywhere. And it’s bringing more power and things to the pack. No one even thinks Lidon has tapped his full potential yet, and that’s honestly a scary thought. Because this pack is strong and growing stronger by the minute. It doesn’t mean there are hardships. Palani is dealing with too much, PTSD is running rampant, people are questioning where they belong and who they belong to, and so much more. It’s never easy trying to establish relationships and order and now this growing pack, but they are determined they will bring back the old ways and survive. If everyone will just realize, not everyone fits into a respective mold. Everyone has their place and it’s not always what their gender reveals. It’s a work in progress. And they hope they can be ready if someone comes for them again. They all just want to finally live in peace.
This one is another book in the series that shows how strong omegas and betas are. It also shows not everyone is the gender assigned at birth. There are issues with PTSD from several people. There’s just a lot going on. Sivney and Lev both impressed me in this one. They are so far from the normal that is expected of them. It’s not been an easy life for either of them. And with what Lev is dealing with, it’s not be easy on alpha, Naran either. Naran has a lot to make up for. My heart breaks for all three in this book. Not one of them knew their places anymore. With what happened to Naran, he lost all faith in himself and everyone else, because he isn’t the man he was. The past between Lev and Naran has Lev questioning everything, and because Sivney isn’t a normal omega, he felt like he wasn’t needed. The sad part, all of them had so much wrong. They all goofed up in their own ways, and they were so far from the truth about how everyone really feels, it’s insane. It’s their own warped sense of themselves that have made them think others think of them differently. And it’s going to take a lot to fix it. It’s not a perfect situation, but when in life is anything really? But it has been amazing to watch everyone grow and become who they are and confident, little by little in what and who they are. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t take constant encouragement, but they are growing and trying and they’ve made up a beautiful pack.
This is a series I don’t think I will ever get tired of. It’s been amazing to read and watch. The characters are just fabulous. And I will never stop loving them.
One of my favorite parts is how the author ties the continuing story arc through each book-always adding new facets to keep things developing, but also everything flows well. And then ALSO gives you an amazing romantic connection with heartfelt emotions, occasional heart-wrenching circumstances, and both sweet and sexy moments.
I really loved this MMM combination. Each of them had different circumstances and challenges and they really both needed each other and helped each other. Balanced so well and they fit perfectly. I love that they figured things out, and while there is definitely more to come for them and others in this world, it gives them a progression and for now ending that is both fulfilling but has me needing more, as a great continuing series should.
This book was amazing and just reminds me again-not that I need it-why Nora Phoenix is one of my favorite authors and always a go-to must read!

Whilst I'm reviewing, I really am getting rather fed up of the errors in Nora Phoenix's stories, whether it be typos or editing errors [this one was apparently edited, but obviously not very well]. If she can't be bothered to spend some money on actually putting out a decent product, then I'm probably not going to continue with this series or her stories in general and take my business elsewhere. For goodness sake, employ a proper editor and give your readers a new experience...a story without strange sentence structures or ones that make no sense, incorrect verb usage and all the other errors that are common to your stories.
I enjoyed this. Naran was already a working part of the pack while Lev and Sivney were the newbies and had to find a way to fit in. Lev in particular struggled somewhat because of his previous role working for the baddies and the betrayal he felt concerning Naran. Sivney was a strong and likeable omega and it was interesting to see their relationships slowly develop, despite their very different personal issues.
My fave Palani seems to be struggling though. There is a lot of unrest outside the pack grounds and in the city which has an effect on the pack leaders. I would love another book devoted to Lidon, Vieno, Palani and Enar, to catch up on their relationships in more depth (although it was touched on here) and their outside troubles.
In the meantime I shall look forward to the conclusion of Naran , Lev and Sivneys romance (with hopefully a lot of Palani thrown in too!).
As ever, highly recommended.
