Options with Swiss Quartz or Automatic Movements
For the watch enthusiast who prefers automatic watches, the Seastrong Diver 300 and Heritage models come with automatic movements. The Heritage models are inspired by the 1960s professional diver design, providing a vintage design while the Diver 300's style is a modern professional diver watch look. The Diver 300GMT offers the same features as the Diver 300 but with a Swiss Quartz movement and the GMT function provides a second time zone.
The Seastrong Collection
Designed with the Diver in Mind for Underwater and Land Adventures
Three designs in the collection, the Diver 300, Diver300 GMT and Heritage models, are dive watches, offering water resistance up to 1000 ft, enabled by the screw in crown. These three models all offer a uni-directional turning 60 minute diving bezel, with the Heritage model vintage design featuring an internal turning bezel. All three models double duty as an essential diving tool and a multifunctional timepiece on dry land.

Alpina invented the concept of the sport watch, as we know it today, with the birth of its legendary Alpina 4 in 1938. Faithful to its long tradition of creating mechanical calibers, Alpina produces five in-house movements in its Manufacture: the Tourbillon AL-980, the World Timer AL-718, the Automatic Regulator AL-950, the Small Date Automatic AL-710, and most recently the AL-760 In House Manufacture Direct Flyback Chronograph, a robust movement with only 96 components. Alpina’s mission is to design and engineer luxury sport watches that operate with the greatest precision and reliability possible in the most demanding sporting environments, like the Alps. It is easy to set up and use. Looks to be accurate.
The only flaw is saw until now is that you need to "activate" sleep mode instead of detecting that you are asleep like others can do.
This watch which should be a combination of electronic guts with a classic interface (Dial and hands) is just embarrassing.
The case seems to have been created by an amateur with a 3D printer.
The spring bars are curved. Why? It seems that the lugs were designed in the wrong location.
That is why the bars needed to be curved to make the strap fit.
The bezel and the click mechanism feels very cheap.
The minute and hour hand don't align properly.
I had no problem pairing the watch with my iPhone.
I noticed that I can assign different functions to the push button
Since there is only one physical button, the selection happens by how many time one clicks this button.
1, 2 or 3 times. That is fine and not a bad solution.
I programmed 1 click to the 2nd time zone
2 clicks to a stop watch function (Very useful I thought!)
I tried the stop watch function. The minute hand started to move to indicate the seconds of the measured time,
the hour hand will show the minutes.
The seconds hand ran totally irregular. It lost 1-2 seconds per minute. It runs normal for a while and will then jump by 2 seconds.
I don't think that my watch is defective , I think that this is a software design problem.
Is there anything good to say about the watch ? The crystal is a sapphire crystal. That is the only good thing.
If this pathetic product would have been offered without the Alpina logo and a price of 35 bucks that would have seemed appropriate.
By the way : The Alpina website states that the watch is obsolete now. I am not surprised !
The app is easy to use and I haven't had any issues with it freezing up or messing with my phone. The watch will give a buzz notification for calls or texts, but of course you can't see them on the watch. You would have to refer back to your phone.
