I received the item unpackaged and broken, in multiple pieces. The fountain alone (no packaging, no box, no protection, no manual) was just thrown in a box and shipped. Requested a replacement which I got in just a few days. Returning the old with labels they sent.
The replacement was packaged like you would expect. The fountain was nestled in styrofoam in an actual box with a manual.
So for an actual product review:
It looks cute! It does what it's supposed to do as far as pumping water. One of the LED lights is out, I've contacted Alpine for a replacement part. It does not make any noise because of the filters. If you are wanting to hear a trickling steam, this is not the fountain for you. I've only just set it up, so as to how long it will last??? I'll update if anything changes.
