The new One 2.5 is built for speed, without sacrificing the comfort needed to maintain it through the finish line. A FootShape toe box lets your toes relax and move freely for incredible comfort, extra stability and a more powerful toe-off. Innerflex technology adapts to the flexion of your foot with omnidirectional flex grooves in the midsole. Responsive A-Bound cushioning protects the feet at impact and rebounds to add a spring to each step. The weight-balanced, Zero Drop platform helps you maintain low-impact form, even when fatigue sets in at the end of a hard race or workout. Go fast, go hard and stay comfortable from step one to the finish line with the new One 2.5. WHAT'S NEW: Improved Fit, Redesigned Upper, New Color Options.

I tend to switch out my shoes depending on when my last run was and how sore my feet are. I have worn these shoes at least weekly since buying them. I could wear them everyday and my feet would be very happy. They meet all my requirements; they are extremely lightweight, they are zero drop, they allow plenty of room for the balls of my feet and toes and, finally, they do not cause the balls of my feet to go numb or get hot.
I'm normally a 7 or 7.5. I more often wear 7 so that's what a went with. After wearing them around the house I exchanged them for a 7.5. The size 7 seemed to fit fine at first but after walking around for awhile I could feel my toes bumping up against the toe of the shoe.
Keep in mind this is a flexible shoe with lots of cushioning. If you prefer s more minimalist shoe this might not work well for you. It's been very comfortable for me for both walking and running. I also find myself putting them on to wear around the house when I'm doing a bunch of housework. The cushioning is enough to keep my feet from getting sore even after an entire day walking around on our hardwood floors.
I definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who has found themselves wanting a bit more space in the toe box. They're a great shoe for walking or running.
Overall, though, a great shoe for those transitioning to zero-drop and focusing on road running over trail. This model also fits true to size, unlike some other shoes by Altra.
