Product Description

This 450-millimeter lazy susan aluminum turntable bearing is a single-row turntable bearing for supporting radial loads. It has a load capacity of 500 pounds and the complete assembly has a diameter of 450 millimeters.

Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others.

Great bearing!!. Used it underneath a glass tabletop for a lazy susan set up. I was looking for a large 30" inch lazy susan for my 60" dining table and most of the options were really expensive. I found this bearing at a great price and also bought a 30" glass beveled tabletop to use as the lazy susan. Both of them work great together. It can withstand the weight of the glass tabletop and rotates smoothly. Yes it does make a slight sound when you turn it, but its not annoying or loud and I am sure with use it will go away.

I am really happy with the bearing and it works great for my purpose.

I'm using this on top of a glass top table. On top of the lazy susan is another smaller piece of glass that rotates. The mechanism is strong, moves smoothly and doesn't slip due to little plastic bumpers.

This is the ultimate Lazy Susan bearing. It is precision made and smooth. It will not free spin out of control. It has friction which makes it turn smooth but slowly so things don't go flying off of it.

I needed this lazy susan bearing for use on a rather large Dobsonian Telescope build I am working on for a friend. Because of the weight of the scope,the usual bearing material caused too much stricture. When the bearing arrive ,it was extremely stiff and could barely move. After working it back and forth a number of times and oiling it ,it works great now.

Disaster of Chinese engineering. Steel bearing in a soft aluminum track?! Had to oil the heck out of it to even start it. Application was wood screwing it to a 24 inch round wooden stool top. Even knowing that seating the head of the screw in the inner ring would bring the rings out of alignment, I was unable to achieve such precision thereby locking the rotation. Good luck!

Piece of junk. I ordered this 450mm Lazy Susan Aluminum Bearing 500 lbs to go on a 25 lbs Carrera marble circle for a lazy Susan for a table. It did not work when I received it. The thing does not rotate. I am returning it and buying a different vendor. Never buy from this vendor. They have junk that they try to pass off as quality product.

Very poor construction! It would not turn at all. Return for a one. Received the new one today, it did turn but is very hard to turn. Going to oil it and see if it will loosen up. I do not recommend buying this product!!
