How to Keep Your Bread Fresh

Recommended

Sliced bread should be stored on the counter or in a bread box at room temperature.

Bread stays fresh for up to three months wrapped in a second bag and stored in the freezer. Individual slices can be pulled out as needed.

Things to Avoid

Direct sunlight, heat, and moisture will cause bread to mold early.

Storing bread in the refrigerator will cause the bread to dry out quickly.

This is not sourdough bread, I had to double check the package to make sure they sent me the correct item because this is very sweet bread, there is nothing sour about it. It also taste like it is full of saw dust, the slices are extremely thin.

I don't typically write reviews, but I love this bread. It makes great cheese toast. I was purchasing the Ezekiel brand and it was okay, but I like this one so much better. It does not seem as dense as the Ezekiel and Trader Joe's brands that I've tried. I kept going back and forth with the regular breads and sprouted because I felt like I was missing some of the flavor with the sprouted breads; however with this bread that doesn't seem to be the case. It has made it easier for me to commit to eating sprouted bread. I'm not saying that it has the flavor of the more processed breads out there, but to me of the sprouted bread that I have tried this one is the best tasting and one that I enjoy eating. One of the reasons that I was transitioning to sprouted breads is they are supposed to have a lower glycemic index and this one taste good which is another plus. I was on line looking for other option to the Ezekiel 7 grain sprouted bread and saw that they had this one at Whole Foods and decided to give it a try and was absolutely glad that I did.
