In Psalm 27:8, David says “When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, Lord, I will seek.’ David a man after God’s own heart, sought God’s face when he heard Him call out.

Blog post“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” Romans 1:18 NKJV
As I was reading through Romans 1 last night, my heart stopped at Romans 1:18 and had a moment of awe, along with a little reminder – it’s good to walk in the fear of the Lord because our God is a God of justice and His wrath is aimed at those who despise Him in thought, word, and action; and His wrath is witnessed in different1 year ago Read more -
Blog postThought of the Day: The Trinity at work in our life is God’s perfect provision.
As I was sitting before God one morning, I asked Him, “What do I not know about You?” His answer did not come right away. I waited. I read through Ephesians 6 on the armor of God, and then went throughout my day with Ephesians 6:10 repeating through my head, “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” I meditated on these words, while taking care of my tasks for the day, filtering through wh2 years ago Read more -
Blog postThe President sets the atmosphere for the nation’s history. Bombarded with varying issues, his demeanor under pressure keeps the nation calm, unaware. He’s taken care of it.
How often are critics in the moment? They tend to be five steps behind the decision, while the President has moved past that history and is living in the present. Critics do not hold the details, and they obviously didn’t make the stage so their opinion simply reminds everyone why they are not the President. The c2 years ago Read more -

Blog postI just started reading the book of Hebrews a couple of days ago. There is just something about Hebrews. It’s a declaration to the people, “The law was satisfied with Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. We can endure to the end.” It’s a book written to the Jews who believed Jesus Christ to be the Messiah. They were suffering various hardships due to their allegiance to Jesus and were in danger of reverting back to Judaism, back to the law; back to what they knew. Revival of the Hearts (A Flash of Insight Book 2)
Oct 16, 2020
$7.99
Why do individuals associate revival with healing? In Revival of the Hearts, VanderWeerd responds, "A healed land is a land right before God, secure in Jesus Christ; and revival is lacking in hearts when sin has become a social norm. People in sin are not alive in Christ; they are more like white-washed tombs. Outward image may be there, but something is missing on the inside... Therefore, people associate revival with healing because their heart and mind are turned toward Christ in a renewed relationship, and they again experience the abundance in this gift of life – the blessings of being right with Christ. They’ve returned to Jesus Christ, their first love – Revelation 2:4." In this book, VanderWeerd walks readers through 2 Chronicles 7:14, breaking down the meaning of the verse - "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
