Truly, it is interesting reading through the quotes and verses on the Bible because you see what captures mankind in regards to God and His Word, as well as what truths God emphasized in the Bible in speaking of the Bible.
What would you say if you were to describe the Bible? And what verses in the Bible, speaking of the Bible, capture your interest and expands3 months ago Read more -
Blog postToday’s devotion in the Mountaintop Mornings devotional is focused on waiting on the Lord.
Many people, today, are waiting on the Lord. Growing Christians, in general, are waiting on the Lord. This is one aspect of the Christian life; as we, Christians, live dependent on the Lord, maturing in our walk with Him. No matter our spiritual age, there is something in our life where we find ourselves waiting upon the Lord. For instance,

Blog postThe Good News – John 3:16 – declares God’s agape love for mankind and His sweet invitation for a relationship with Jesus Christ and Himself.
Available on Amazon There are some favorite red letters in the Bible for many Christians and John 3:16 is one of them. A verse found in a chapter where Jesus is explaining to Nicodemus the way to be born again. A new birth not brought on by the plan of man, but by the wisdom of God. Blog post“The Parable” by James Russell Lowell is a classic poem illustrating a difficult truth regarding the church and our lack of love for our neighbor.
God has given us two great commands – Love Him and love people. This classic poem, written in the 1800’s, makes one wonder – when Christ returns, how will He find His church? Will He find a church living in obedience to His word, remaining in His love, loving Him and others? Or will He find a church focused on image, at the cost of men and4 months ago Read more -
Blog postThis Christian book excerpt of Revival of the Hearts, provides the first section of chapter 1, as well as the last section of chapter 1.
The title of the book is Revival of the Hearts – this is a term my friend and I would share with each other, years ago, whenever we would talk about 2 Chronicles 7:14 and zeal for the Lord.
Many people when speaking of 2 Chronicles 7:14, talk about revival. This was topic of many Christians’ discussions during 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic.4 months ago Read more -
Blog postHistorical and current quotes are everywhere. People have a lot to say and there are one liners that are memorable. As all Christians know, not everything shared is from Christians or is a Biblical Worldview. In fact, God in His Word gives an example of what every Christian is to do when they listen to pastors preach, or listen to Christian teachers teach – Search Scripture like a Berean to see if what is being taught is the truth – Acts 17:11. Blog postFanny Crosby’s hymns truly open the eyes of the spiritually blind; with many I’m sure saying, after encountering her hymns, “I once was blind, but now I see.”
There are many historic hymn writers who have shared in their hymns a wealth of insight in regards to Jesus Christ and this Christian life. The hymn writers’ hymns bring people to the foot of God’s throne of grace. They are amazing to sing and fun to study, as the hymns reveal how God moves through His church, throughout generat4 months ago Read more -
Blog postWhen we are studying Scripture to hear God’s voice – we are actively seeking Him.
We open the Bible, or a devotional that has Scripture in it, and we ask God to open our eyes, and to open our ears to what He is speaking. “Speak Lord, Your servant is listening.”
The Word of God is God’s voice to mankind. So, every time we read Scripture, He is speaking to us. Honestly, He may not address the subject we want Him to address – for instance, if we approach God and say, “Lord, I nee4 months ago Read more -
Blog postThere are many historical Christian quotes that are timeless. Truly, they are gems left behind by faithful followers of Jesus Christ, for Christians to learn from. I personally, am a fan of quotes. Some statements, I analyze as a writer/researcher and honestly I cannot say it any better. There are people who have walked along the historic timeline, who simply nail truths with such accuracy and are absolutely worth quoting. These Christians put in the time. They studied before the Lord, and ou4 months ago Read more

Blog postI believe God has called us Christians to shine the light where He has placed us – in the opportunities He opens up for us.
One opportunity God has opened up for me is Amazon merch, with my brand Relentless Designs. Learn how the truths God states in 2 Chronicles 7:14 show people how to positively increase their spiritual, psychological/emotional, physical, and social well-being – experiencing a revival of hearts.
In 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV, God says, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
This verse declares God’s love for us! He does not want us to experience short-lived revivals, but a revival of hearts that is unwavering through the years. He has given us His Word – the Old Testament and New Testament – to study and live; inviting us into a conversation with Himself that is everlasting. A genuine relationship that is filled with abundance.
This is the way – reading and studying the Bible – to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ; for He is the Word made flesh.
God cares about our life here on earth as well as our life in heaven; that is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bring the Good News to the poor in spirit, to liberate the captives, to open the eyes of the blind, to free the oppressed and to proclaim that the time of God’s favor has come.
He sent us a Savior to die on the cross for our sins to show us the way to live.
2 Chronicles 7:14 is an amazing, timeless verse in the Old Testament that speaks to us today regarding revival in our own heart, and those around us.
In the ten chapters, VanderWeerd breaks down the truths God declares in 2 Chronicles 7:14; providing a quick in-depth look into Scripture that is great for personal study or for a group bible study, with questions for discussion at the end of each chapter.
