From the Author
As a reluctant author, I have felt forced to create AmaBhulu in response to the savagery and abuse besetting South Africa in the 21st century. If the Western media had exhibited professional balance in the matter of that tortured country, there would have been less need for this work. However, almost 60 years of slanted reporting has created a desperate need for the broader South African story, properly substantiated by evidence.
About the Author
Harry Booyens is an internationally recognized, multiple award winning Ph.D Defense & Aerospace physicist. Originally from South Africa, with a 360-year bloodline in that country, he lives with his family on the forested slopes outside Vancouver, Canada. He applies his lifetime of research and interpretive skills to History and Genealogy, and writes with factual accuracy and engaging style on these subjects. Compelling evidence is a trademark of his work and has won him a number of awards.

South Africa is currently ruled by the ANC which is the slave of the SACP (South African Communist Party). The international world rejoiced as power was handed over to the ANC, but the RSA is currently in a dismal state. As one example, the official murder rate is about fifty per day which compares to a war zone. How did it come about? Read the book and find out what really happened.
What does the future hold? Harry Booyens portrays a very bleak picture which is well justified considering facts presented. The current state of affairs confirms his viewpoint. Man is however inclined to be an optimist and many an optimist succumbed during pogroms. It is hoped that the future proves Harry wrong. Can this tragedy be avoided? There is unfortunately no clear answer.
Easy to find links fast and you will need it to cross check the different parts of the book.
The author, a scientist, gives an interesting and direct account of the history of the Afrikaner by tracing his own roots through history. There is no sugar coating here. It is well researched and written in an engaging style.
Read this for an alternative view on this lost tribe of Africa.
The book must be read with an open mind and a willingness to have ones preconceived notions of what South Africa was and is demolished. That said, I urge you to read the book, look at the references and judge it’s accuracy for yourself.
All South Africans need to read this book. A rare objective look at the history of South Africa!
As a current citizen of this failed state, THIS BOOK SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING, not just for those outside this beautiful country, but also for those inside its borders.
To understand where you are heading, you need to know where you came from and AmaBhulu is just that!
I did genealogical research myself about some of the family lines summarised and linked together by the author in his book "AmaBhulu - The Birth and Death of the Second America". For that reason I have benefited much from the information which is presented in such an interesting style. Furthermore, the history of our land, South Africa, is offered so vividly and truly, it fascinated me in such a manner that I couldn't resist the temptation to continue reading and reading! To have this book at one's disposal is a must for every history lover. Thank you, Harry!
