Ok, I will write the 2411th review...I believe the negatives about Obama..The more he insults some people, the more they are afraid to respond. I just dont understand how so many thought this person would be a great leader...We never heard the truth about Obama...and it should have come out...even the republicans did not want to get involved in letting the public know...and the media were outright dishonest with the public...good book...but there seemed to be a reluctance of defineing the negatives..and that is still partially true. This was nothing more than a college radical activist...pretending to be a great leader..He never really had friends...he only had associates, and only if they could help him further his career and deception. What an ego...Not long ago, I heard him make a speech complaining what an unfair thing it was to be a black man in America..and he made that speech in another country.

I found this book to be rather interesting and informative. Never having been much of an Obama Fan and based on the title of the book, it was fairly much what I thought it would be. Of course, in my humble opinion Obama was really not well prepared to be the Chief Executive of the world's greatest nation. Most individuals realized that he was an extreme liberal and would move forward with his liberal agenda. I was well aware of the control that Axelrod and Emanuel had over him, however did not quite realize how much control Valerie J. and Michele had over him. I did learn that by reading this book.

I doubt things will change much over the final year of his Presidency. We can only hope that the voters do not bring another "Amatuer" to the Presidency in November of 2016.

Prospective buyers of this book should be aware that this is a very partisan book. The author, former New York Times Magazine editor Edward Klein, is not a supporter of President Obama.

But this is still a very interesting book. Over the course of a few years, Klein conducted interviews with a few hundred people who knew Barack Obama before and after he became President. The people interviewed ranged from Obama's former paster, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, to members of Chicago's African-American elite who bankrolled Obama's first forays into campaigning for elected office, to leaders of the Jewish community who supported Obama in 2008 but became very disillusioned over his stance on Israel, Oprah Winfrey and some of Oprah's inner circle, members of the Kennedy clan, members of the Clintons' circle, members of the Congressional Black Caucus and many others.

The portait of Barack Obama that emerges is not a flattering one. Michelle Obama, Obama advisors like Valerie Jarrett and most of Obama's inner circle do not fare much better.

This book is certainly worth reading before the upcoming US Presidential election.
