After 15 years of working with inner-city gangs, church youth groups, high school clubs, youth camps, and families in crisis, Bill wrote his master s thesis on a youth program that eventually led to seven Biblical, non-optional principles of life which, when followed, will result in harmonious relationships in all areas of life.

    The wisdom that is found in the principles that Mr. Gothard has in the Institute of Basic Life Principles (IBLP) are phenomenal and life -changing. I have been attending his seminars since I was 24 (I'm now 74). When I followed the wisdom and discipline of those principles, it not only changed my relationships , the trajectory of my life but had a powerful and positive influence on my friends enemies and acquaintances. One thing you must be willing to do is give your whole life to Christ. If you do not, the discipline that it takes to develop the habits of the principles will feel legalistic and burdensome. But if you submit, it will bring unspeakable joy and eliminate some of the evils that have become so blatant and outlandish that we as society must endure.
    Mr. Gothard's explanation of the principles on authority, success, marriage, etc. are exceptional.
    This book give you the context of how Mr.Gothard embarked on his life's journey that he still walks @ the age of 84. Look @ his website. Bill Gothard.com. you won't regret it.
