      Amazon Essentials has yet to let me down. I was looking for some CAT6 ethernet cables but found out pretty quickly they can be rather expensive. Until Amazon came to save the day. You can't go wrong with this. I love the locking mechanism the cords use where they snap into your devices. They can be rather difficult to pinch loose and pullout, but I will take that over them accidentally being unplugged.

      Obviously, simple plug and play. I have fiber, and I was getting about 480 up and down when connected to the wireless router in my office. When I plugged in directly to the ethernet port, those speeds more than doubled to 970 down/ 980 up. Amazing. Well worth it, as I work from home and need the fastest and most reliable connection possible.

      This cat6 amazonbasics cable is pure copper (stranded of cource),i tried the burn test and the scrape test. most cables are CCA which are not durable and have high resistance (never use those especially if you need PoE). I got it for 350rs (50ft) which is a great deal imo. Definitley good quality cable. I've made few patch cords out of this (d link rj45 connector) and they are all working great at gigabit full duplex (10G might be possible but my hardware only supports 1G). I also have a cat5e 50ft from amazonbasics which i believe is actually CCA but i've been using it for more than 2 years, it is working fine so far (using it for a 100M lan non PoE).
