VERY IMPORTANT - Do this before using

I bought 2. The first one, I stirred the oil and it was like soup. Even when chilled, in the fridge, it was soup like. I mean really thin. Next jar (plastic container) I poured off 2/3rds of the oil. That made it "normal" and the thickness improved immensely and was spreadable. Ordered again because it does have a great flavor and no sodium. Yes, I know almonds are water hogs, eventually, farmers will figure that out. Years ago, switched from peanut butter to almond butter. Tried lots of brands. This is a keeper. You can always pour the oil into a measuring cup and add back in. But, if you use all the oil in the container, it will be more like liquid and low viscosity, not like a spread.

Update - Reordered, this time measured the oil poured off, it was almost 3/4ths of a cup. Perfect now!

I use almond butter a lot and I've tasted lots of almond butter of different types and kinds I always look for the almond butter that is only made with almonds this is the nastiest almond butter I have ever tasted it taste like they used rotted or at the very least very stale garbage almonds! I will never buy this brand again it is hideous

So disappointed, if I could, I would give this no stars. I realize this is creamy Almond butter but there is an excessive amount of almond oil. Mixing it up makes it more liquidity which you should do with Almond butter period. Totally ruined my no bake brownies. I use date lady dates and small bag is 8 dollars. Total waist of money due to this Almond butter that will pour out like thin syrup. I feel like this was the end of the batch and most of it was oil..

Almond butter isn't supposed to be liquid

Like any natural nut butter, this product arrived with a fair amount of oil separated out at the top. I did what I normally do, which is to stir the butter firmly to reintegrate the oil. But nothing much happened: the end state was liquid. I tried refrigerating too but as almond oil has a very low setting point this made no difference either. So what you get stuck with is a very, very runny product that is unusable in baking and only marginal usable in sandwiches. Happy Belly aka Amazon needs to rethink the formula - probably spinning out a lot of oil would help.

I ordered this once before with no issues. The almond butter tastes good and it was incredibly creamy. However, my recent order had packaging issues. (The picture of the jar was taken just after I took the lid off.) I’m guessing this is due to temperature variance or handling. The almond butter arrived in a box at least four times its size with limited package protection; it rolled around when I picked up the box, so I’m sure it was jossled much more en route. I hope Amazon ameliorates the issue.

Runny and tastes gross

This tasted terrible and was so runny. I had read a review before buying it that said it was runny and I still ordered it. I should have listened and got a different product. I might have able to even deal with the runnyness if it had a better taste. It tasted like old vegetable oil that has been sitting in the cupboard too long. I looked at the expiration date, it wasn't expired, it just tasted that way. I threw the whole thing away.

I had never eaten Almond butter prior to this purchase. I actually ordered it to use in Keto recipes. When it arrived, a little separation had occurred resulting in a small amount of oil rising to the top of the container. This may have been due to heat exposure during shipping. But, there was room at the top of the jar for stirring so there was no mess. The butter blended easily and smoothly. The biggest test was when I ran out of peanut butter. I made my five grandchildren almond butter and jelly sandwiches. It passed their taste test. They are picky eaters. My opinion? It is creamy and easy to spread. It is not too sweet or too salty. The flavor is very appealing and satisfying. The entire family really likes it. I will purchase this product on a regular basis.
