WHOA. This tastes like Penzey's Cinnamon blend. It has an intense aroma, delightful sweetness, and the spicy bite that leaves your tongue tingling. I can't believe this was $10! What a steal. Fresh and potent cinnamon.
Off to make kibba, hashweh, and grape leave rolls. :-)
If you like Penzey’s, or true cinnamon flavor, steer clear of this product.
It has better flavor, and is really good for you if you eat about 2 tsps each day.
Cassia tastes a little like real cinnamon, so that's how it started getting labeled that way.
But it can only be used as a seasoning. Anything more than a sprinkle is toxic.
Do NOT buy this to use as a health supplement. You could poison yourself!
