8/11/22 UPDATE AND CHANGE So my first review was six months ago and i said the source orchard must be a landfill. I kept checking the reviews though, and they were totally mixed, even up till very recently, so I decided to give another shot. This batch was from Argentina, not Turkey, and were perfectly usable, though not that sweet, and were actually orange not brown. I wish we could sort reviews by region, bc it seems like they might be shipping different batches to different warehouses. I added a couple of stars but I'd say buy with caution, because I'm not sure the quality will be consistent.
I was so happy to see that Amazon started offering frozen peaches and that they were actually available, since they've been difficult to obtain. Well, some genius decided to source from Turkey and these are utterly unusable. Can't bake with them, can't defrost and eat, can't blend in a smoothie. I wouldn't care if they were just visually unappealing if the taste was ok...but these are just gross. Brown, mealy, they taste like rot. Really disgusted. Don't buy fruit without some quality control. 0/10 do not recommend.
