Tales From Deep Space is a comedic mis-adventure set on Big Moon, the most eccentric space station in the galaxy. Players help E, a traveling salesman, and his loyal luggage drone CASI escape when Big Moon is thrown into lockdown. E and CASI must work together to fight dangerous battles, solve fiendish puzzles and unravel the nefarious plot behind the mysterious "Meek" uprising. Players can switch between E and CASI in single player, and on Kindle Fire HDX, Fire Phone and 2014 Fire tablets, they can play in local, two-player co-op where each player controls the reluctant heroes individually on their own tablets. First let me say I am not a kid, with that in mind I like single player games I can play offline. This game fits that bill perfectly. I hate online freemium pay as you go games. As far as game play goes it is more reminiscent of older role playing games. It has a relaxed pace. The graphics are good, Game-play is good for about 18 hours and I would and did play it more than once. Controls are some what unique but very easy to get used to. There are some puzzles to solve that require both characters to work in unison. I only had trouble in a few areas because of my slow reflexes. You do shoot the enemy but then you save them give them a new chance at a better life. As for how it plays on a kindle fire HD, It plays well, only crashed once. But it does get hot and eat battery life. It's not the worst. I have other games that will shut my kindle down on overheat.

Update: ... Haven't played this in awhile as it was downloaded on only my Kindle. Picked it back up the other day and started playing it again. I like the controls on the game and it feels as smooth as is expected on my tablet. The only thing is that it is easy to get caught in an area where you are not sure what the game is wanting from you. I am still early into the levels of the game so I don't have much to update on the game progression but I will come back and update with likes and dislikes as it goes further on. Still recommend getting this game if you haven't yet. I believe I got this when it was on a deal for free or reduced when it first came out on the website.

Very enjoyable little game well worth it.

Beautiful and humorous world with most areas having good reexploreability as you get new skills. Enjoyable puzzles. Cute story. Has 3 save slots (that I know of). Auto saves often. Definite replayability.

The controls did give me some issues sometimes when it thought I was trying to move instead of aim but really did not detract from the overall enjoyable experience. This could be more my fingers fault than the games honestly. Even the one bug I found (don't check you map right after telling E to open a pipe) did little to mar my enjoyment of the game. Be sure to read the data cubes you find as they will be sure to give you a chuckle.

I would happily buy the sequel, movie, picture book, and/or any plush toys should Amazon choose to ever offer them.

LOVE LOVE This game. I have always enjoyed quest scenario games where you have to think and levels are a bit harder each time. I do think it is a wee bit steep in price but didn't mind spending the extra dollars since it was Amazon Game Studio and there are no in app purchases. I hope that they develop more games like this one.

Fun game! Plays great on Kindle HDX. It also works on my Nexus 6, but the bottom of the screen hangs off the display. I may update the review as I get farther in, but single player and multiplayer are both good and the kids have fun with it. Graphics, concept, story line, controls are all unique and well done.

A very nice game and lots of fun, but... on the kindle HDX it has screen problems. This tends to show up when in battle. The screen zooms in and it becomes impossible to move about and shoot. And of course you die a lot. My progress has came to halt at the warehouse. Not so much fun once you get stuck.

Cute charecters, nice graphics and a good story which made for overall fun play. Made a few wrong turns and had to back track a couple of times and the controls take a bit of getting used to but I had no issues with freezing or force closing.
