Very satisfied!!!Excellent product and reasonable price. This USB cable is well made and works great in my Kindle with no issues, so hard built cable with compact head is really what I want. I love the long length so much, it is longer than the original cord and it keeps my Kindle plugged in while reading in bed or listening to music. Most importantly, fantastic function! This Micro-USB is awesome, because I could take it with me and plug it into any USB port as well as works with most cases, very easy to set up to use when on vacation. Such a great cable is a perfect gift to my families, they will love it. Actually very impressed by the shipment that it arrived earlier than expected. Very high quality with a fast charge, would recommend!!!

Works well with all Kindle models, either as a computer cord or charging cord. My original Kindle came with a charger and cord. The new editions don't. They come with a cord like this - but my mom's got thrown away with the box. This is a perfect replacement.

I recently purchased an Amazon Kindle Fire 10. My phone has little storage and I wanted something portable that would take video and pictures I could then upload easily to my computer. The Fire works well for that purpose, but I got tired of transporting the charging cord from room to room. I charge my Kindle Fire in my bedroom where I use it most, but my computer is in our office. I also like having a back up cable on hand in case something happens to the original. So I purchased the Amazon Kindle Fire 5 ft. USB to Micro-USB Cable to keep in the office.

This is a high quality cable that works well for transferring pictures and video to my computer. I leave it plugged into my computer at all times and then just plug in the Kindle Fire when I need to transfer content. The cable feels sturdy, albeit a bit stiff, and I expect it to last a long time. It is 5 feet long, which is nice because I can use and maneuver my Kindle Fire while it is plugged into my computer. The black plastic construction matches the look and feel of my Kindle Fire in its black case. I was glad to find a cable manufactured specifically for my Kindle Fire because that gives me the confidence to know I shouldn’t have any compatibility issues that might shorten the life of my Kindle Fire Battery. I have purchased many name brand cables before and they are often expensive. This cable was half the price of other name brand cables at the time I purchased it which I believe was a good value. I am glad I own it.

I got this cord because my original, and very short, charging cord had gotten loose. I wanted to have something longer so I could use my tablet while it charged so I got this. What a waste of money.

This cord is looser than the one I already had. I can't use my tablet while its charging because I can't keep the cord in. Even when I sit it to charge, I have to lay something on the cord because if I don't, invariably it will come out just enough to not charge but not enough for me to notice.

I'm really frustrated and wish I hadn't bothered.

I keep having to replace and I am ordering one today or maybe two. the wire folds in on itself at the place where it goes into the connection to the kindle. I have tried bracing with a straight object and wrapping with tape, even when new. This is bizarre. Please, Amazon, Apple, whom ever, your products are good usually. Fix this. I know that it is delicate and I am not roughing it up at all. I wish I could make it myself. I can rework an electrical connection. This is the digital age, but why such a worrisome charge system? To the entire industry, I say, why isn't each charging system interchangeable? Amazon and Apple are customer friendly. Customer friendly stops however at this most basic item. I do not live by complaints and whines. I prefer to praise because of all the negativity around me. This has inconvenienced me for a year--running into Best Buy or Apple, ordering online. HELP HELP HELP

After sometime I started having issues with the usb cable that came with my Kindle Fire HD 2012 model. It would stay at 1-2% charge even after hours of having it plugged in which was just a little slower than the 12 hour charging time it usually took to get it to full battery. I always just used the usb port on my computer to charge my device and after a few times of wanting to use my Kindle, but being unable to because it was dead from no charge, I decided to contact Amazon after seeing a review stating that they had a similar issue.

Amazon replaced the cord and included the 9W PowerFast adapter that they recommended would solve my charging issue. I did not have experience with an adapter because I only used my usb ports but I received it 2 days later and used both products together the moment it arrived. I left my kindle alone and waited to see if it would charge. Within a few hours it was at FULL power. This is literally the fastest I've ever had it charge the entire time I've owned it.

If you have any issues with your cable I would suggest replacing it with the one on this listing and in addition getting the 9W PowerFast adapter as it is the most convenient accessory I own for my Kindle. I'm really disappointed that I went so long not using my Kindle just because of the charging issue when it was such a simple fix. I will update this review when my Kindle is dead and charge it ONLY using the 5ft USB Micro cable to time how long it takes using my computers usb port to give more information for those not wanting to purchase the adopter.
