Like the way the book is laid out. It provides a quick overview of crating s VPC. It would be better if the book also talks about how we can script all these steps using cloud formation template, in addition to doing everything manually.

I'm as ready as I'll ever be! This helpful book will assist in "joining the cloud". A couple years ago, I had some free cloud storage somewhere. I liked the idea very much. I like to back up my files several times and I like to have one of the back ups away from my home. What if there is a horrible fire or water problem? Well, I stored some of my most valuable files on the cloud server and I was not pleased. The cloud server "re-filed" things the way the robots wanted to do it... not the way I planned... so I gave up my free cloud storage until I had time to rethink things. I have more than 1.3 terabytes of movies, music, pictures, eBooks, etc. Many could never be replaced so I create a single daily (or more frequent) backup on one of my external drives. Then a couple or three times a week, I do two more backups on external drives... and there's more, believe it or not! Once a week, I back up again on a drive I keep in my safe in another room away from my computer. Am I finished yet! Nope. You're going to think I've taken leave of my senses now! I have another infrequent backup stored in my daughter's safe 30 miles away! It's true! Really! I have read too many horror stories about a person losing their computer's hard drive and turning to a second backup drive and have that fail, and even a third! Failed also! Guys, I don't want to have that ever happen to me! I'm prepared! Now I'll decide if I want my trusted Amazon to further protect my files. I'll decide soon. Maybe I will no longer need so many backups! So... my advice is do invest in at least one external hard drive. Here I go again! Then let Amazon's VPC store your files far from danger and loss. What one should never, ever do is to not have their computer's files backed up! VPC could well be the answer.
