I have used this service 3 times. I love it! I have ordered from both Amazon and New Seasons. I have been pleased with both services. When ordering from New Seasons, they did not have one of the fresh salads as I had ordered. They immediately called me and we worked out the details perfectly. As for the tip...heck you tip for coffee, sandwiches, and many things where people are performing their everyday jobs. Amazon Prime shops and delivers to my home. They are using their gas, wear and tear, and time to shop and deliver. I benefit. It is worth the tip. The prices are not inflated. Some prices are less than regular prices at my local grocery store. As with any shopping...know your prices. I hope this helps anyone thinking about using this service. Oh, and I even purchased coffee k cups for less from Amazon Prime Now then they were being offered on the Amazon site. Very pleased.

I can't believe I didn't know about this sooner. I have really missed out on life. Using Prime Now is super easy! I just got my first grocery delivery yesterday, and it came in a little over an hour!! Mind blown

Amazon now seems great I haven't ordered anything yet but it's awesome to be able to order something and get it so quickly.

The site has a variety of options and very healthy choices. It saves me time from going to the East side for a few items which I can put to use elsewhere with my busy lifestyle. The delivery personnel are very happy and cordial.

So, I tried Amazon Prime Now and my order arrived on time and the delivery driver was very friendly and polite. It is a great service when you can't, or really don't want to, get out of the house. I could really see using this service for groceries, especially perishables that need a quick delivery time, but I found the selection lacking. For example, I needed block cheddar cheese but there was only one brand available. Also, since you don't have the selection of sellers available that are on Amazon.com, prices differ from what you would find on Amazon. One item on prime now was triple what it would cost of Amazon.com, other items were priced the same or similar. I was also disappointed to find I can only use this service on my phone, it wasn't available on my computer. I was finally able to install it on my Android tablet by installing Amazon Underground first and then installing Prime Now from Underground but if I tried to install it from the Google Play Store, it said the app was not compatible with my device. There is also no connectivity between prime now and basic Amazon. It would be great when ordering from Prime Now to be able to see a list of items from my Amazon lists or cart that are available so I can add them to what I'm ordering to bring my order up to the minimum requirement. It would also be great to see while shopping on Amazon.com a "This item is available on Prime Now for $x.xx". I will likely use Prime Now again but there is so much that could be done to make it better.

EASY. Delivery person was polished & professional. Products arrived within window promised and all items ordered were in perfect condition. Product prices (some) seemed pretty high, and selection is obviously limited compared to AMZN's full site. I'm glad there is a recommended tip - that's helpful. Basically, this is the GrubHub of stuff you need right now. Pretty awesome!

I downloaded the app, I have not used it at this time. The selection of items is limited, but I'm sure this will come in handy from time to time.

We love Amazon and Amazon Prime, and its general customer service has always been great. However, Amazon Prime Now is not a service that is ready to debut. We've made four orders of Amazon Prime Now and three have not been well received. The first one was fine. It was of regular Amazon items. The second was a grocery delivery with a horrible driver that kept driving around the block of our home. After an hour I called her, concerned that the driver was lost and worried about that the frozen food items I purchased were thawing. When she answered her phone, she was incredibly rude, not saying hello and yelling at me for calling. All I said was "I thought you were lost." She then hung up on me. I called Amazon customer service and canceled the order. The customer service person was nice and said they would issue a $10 credit, however, I haven't wanted to order groceries again, so I haven't used it. The third order was a restaurant order. Everything was fine and the driver was nice, however an entire entree was missing from the delivery. I called Amazon customer service. They were nice and immediately refunded us the entree and gave us a 10 dollar credit. Today, I decided to try a restaurant order again. We ordered and everything seemed fine. 10 minutes after placing our order, I received a text message from Amazon Prime saying our order was canceled and they were issuing a 10 dollar credit. No explanation. While I am grateful to Amazon for all these 10 dollar credits, what is the point if we can never use them?

I'll admit it, I was skeptical at first.
Yes, it has the great Amazon brand name with the snazzy little addition of PRIME added to it. Was this just a marketing ploy to get me to spend MORE money on stuff I could already buy and have shipped to my door in 2 days or a less? What the heck was this all about?
I took a look at what was offered and was really blown away by the variety of items. There were several of my favorites that I usually bought at Costco, just because they carried them. Amazon Prime Now actually had normal sized quantities of these.
Fresh food? Organic dairy? Frozen items? In two hours or less?????? No cost to deliver it. Game ON!
I put in an order and just for fun added some ice cream from my favorite brand. This ice cream gets a bit soft in the short distance from the store to my freezer. How were they going to pull this off? In Arizona...on a 95 degree day. Big test, would they fail?
My items were delivered in less than two hours and it bears mentioning that I do not live in the heart of Phoenix...I live in an area that is on the outskirts, borderline rural area.
My items were delivered by a very nice guy...who was pleasant, personable and efficient. He handed me two paper bags, that had been stapled shut. THEN he went back to his car for the ice cream. aHA...this was the acid test.
When I took everything out of the package, I was pleased that nothing was crushed or out of order. Very nice.
The ice cream? It was more solid than the stuff I can get at the grocery store across the street.
Verdict....I will be ordering from them again. And probably again.
