Truely Non-Stick!

I cannot think of a better value in cookware. I have tried copper frying pans and they aren't worth the powder to blow them up. I have tried the green non-stick pans and I put them in the same rating as the copper pans. I have searched all over for decent frying pans and I have found them in Amazon Basics. I am in my late seventies and these are by far the best I have ever used. I like cooking with olive oil and with or without oil these are truly NON-stick!! The one con I have is that Amazon's ad would lead one to believe that these come with lids and they don't, no big deal. I love cast iron but on my glass top range these are the best. To top it all off they are as attractive as any of the upper crust, more expensive pans. For the price you can't go wrong.

What I've learned over the years is that non-stick eventually wears out and has to be replaced, whether you spent $10 or $100, so I buy decent but cheap pans, and these fit the bill perfectly. The assortment of sizes comes in handy, they are quick and easy to clean, and I won't feel bad when it's time to reorder. I do wish they came with lids, but the glass and silicon universal lids I got fit just fine and will last through many sets of these.

Ruined my Cooktop

These pans are aluminum on the bottom and left markings all over my glass cooktop burner. I tried to remove them with soft scrub, backing soda etc. but nothing worked. My cooktop is ruined. The pans are returned. I will stick to stainless steel :-(

I would have liked to have the lids, and didn't notice anywhere on Amazon Basics where I could get the lids separate.
Either way, they are sturdy, nice pans. Classic black, cannot go wrong. Easy to handle, not too heavy.

Terrible warping as soon as they heat up! These pans are horrible! If you like even heat over the surface area of your sauté pan, DO NOT BUY THESE! As soon as the pan gets hot, it warps to the point that only a very small part of the pan is the ONLY part that is in contact with the burner! So only the food in the very center of the pan cooks while everything else in the pan doesn’t cook because there is no contact to the burner. Please spend the extra money on a better quality sauté pan set! I had to immediately buy a whole new set due to this one not doing the one thing it was meant to do! Cook my food! I added a video of how bad the pan is warped while trying to sear a corned beef brisket. You can see how it spins freely and wobbles due to the fact that the only part of the pan still touching the burner is a very small area in the center.
