Warning: This may not fit on your phone with OtterBox cases. The lightning end of the cable is too large and chunky to fit on my iPhone while using an OtterBox case.

"Unless you buy Amazon’s clone of the Lightning cable—for 8 bucks.

I just received this cable. I ordered it to use when I charge my iPhone (and iPad) through my external battery. In particular, when I charge my iPhone with the extra external battery I own, it sometimes is annoying to have the battery, the iPhone, as well as a regular sized cable all in my pocket so I figured I would give this a shot since it was pretty cheap. For anyone else who has ordered cables for an iPhone (not through apple themselves) I am sure know that a lot of times they just don't work or if they do work, don't last very long. I have owned plenty of those. I seem to have success with obviously the apple brand cables as well as the Amazon brand cables. So far, this one is working beautifully. I guess time will tell if it lasts. But like I said, if it is anything like the other amazon brand cables I have owned, then I am sure I will get my money's worth. Definitely recommend for people who like to bring around an external battery and charge their phone through that when they need the extra juice.

It does not charge 6+. Same Amazon Basic cable in black that I purchased before works fine, so I suspect there might be a quality control issue.

One star for the white 4" cable.

Good little cord to keep in your purse with a battery pack for your iPhone. Quality made. It doesn't fit into the LifeProof case, but I just shaved the extra plastic on the outside until it fit. Great for vacations where you need a battery & cord because you take a lot of pictures or video.

What would the purpose be of a teeny tiny cord like this? The auxiliary batteries that are given out by a lot of companies as "free with purchase" or promo items to charge your phone in times of need. The problem with those of us with iphones? The way to charge those little guys is through a mini-USB cord which happens to be given out with the product. This makes the Android community happy since they can charge the aux battery and charge the phone all with the same cord.

I bought this little guy so that I wouldn't have to end up carrying around a full size Lightning cable in my purse (or my pocket while using it). That way I wouldn't keep the cable wrapped up, potentially fraying it faster or just tangling it. This does the job and it is Apple certified to work, which means there is none of that annoying "This cable is not certified to charge your phone" message. That has got to be the most irritating thing EVER.

I would buy this again, but for the size of the cord I found it a bit overpriced. I could buy a full sized cord for the same price. That being said, sometimes you pay for convenience-how often do we pay almost double for a cold soda in the case that is half the size? Same concept here. But I would repurchase this seeing as how it has helped me time and time again.

These aren't for everyone given their size but I think they're great - perfect size for traveling and don't take up a massive amount of space when plugging my phone into my laptop.
No issues with the quality and the price is hard to beat.

I factor the price into my reviews as I expect a more expensive product to perform better and/or have a longer life span than a less expensive product. However, I review every product as if I had paid the full price for it.
I do a lot of my shopping online and I rely heavily on other customers reviews (both positive and negative) when making my purchasing decisions so my review is a true representation of my opinion.
