After bending pins on the cord that connects the 2 USB 3.0s on the front of my computer to my motherboard (luckily I have 2 more 3.0s in the back that work, and I'm saving those for a USB3.0 External Hard Drive), it was a inconvenience to have to keep pulling out the PC to get to the rear USB ports. I got a pair of the USB 2.0 3.3 feet cables and they work great. They extend from the back of the PC and come up on both sides of my flatscreen. The adapters are literally at my fingertips. No more inconvenience! I have 2 Logitech F310 controllers for my Steam games; I have absolutely no problems with these controllers with the extensions, and now I can play in my bed thanks to the extension.
Might buy the USB3.0 extensions in the future.

Got the one that was 9 inches because ot was only a dollar or so more thatn tha 6 inch. It works well with all my equipment. I tested it both on my stationary ball logitech mouse & my HP keybord and they both worked flawlessly on both. I also tried it on my PS3 controller charger cable and it even worked with that. The stock PS3 controller charger is too short for any practical use while its charging so having an extra 9 inches on the charger works great because of the distance between my PS3 & the sofa.

Works great with my iPhone and IPad and Apple chargers. Great way to make your iphone cord really long and not have to worry about the dreaded "this accessory is not supported" message. Very sturdy, but not so thick that you can't fold/wrap it up and take it with you. I was a little worried that this would be a big bulky cord since I bought the 10ft one, but it is not at all. It wraps up nicely an is very easy to take with you. I haven't really noticed any time loss with charging my iphone, as you are adding 10ft to the cord- an still charge my phone fully in about an hour. It does seem to take longer with the IPad however, but not a lot. I've never really timed it so I can't really be sure how much of a difference there really is. This is a great versatile cord. I was really happy that I didn't have to risk buying an after market Apple cord and have to worry about the error message you often get. I have been recommending this to everyone and for the price you can't really beat it!

I have purchased 5 of these now from 3 to 6 feet long. They works great and can even be used to plug a keyboard in to the xBox 360 so it reaches the couch. Lots of uses. I use two of them to connect keyboard and mouse from PC to couch where I now enjoy gaming and entertainment while my legs are elevated (health issues).

YES!!!!! Exactly what I needed and works exactly as described. Perfect. Wud recommend to anyone who wants a wired keyboard and mouse at a distance when using the TV as your monitor with your coffee table as your keyboard surface. Having to put up with the cords are worth it as the accuracy vs. wireless is vastly more responsive and exact, especially when moving the mouse on the arm rest of your chair.

These have never failed me and perform great for a variety of uses.
I purchased two of these some time back to use with webcams here in my studio, One of these USB extensions ended up being used full time with a new, yet problematic, wifi printer that I couldn't to hook up to my network. Because I'm often moving things around here they other USB extension was used in a variety of roles, extension cable for a webcam, USB from audio mixer to a computer, keyboards and extensions for USB devices when doing videos away from the studio..
One USB extension was just not enough and bought two more. If you're considering buying one of these buy two or more because at some point one will not be enough.

This item does what it's supposed to do. However, I had it hanging from the back of a keyboard shelf with the female end hanging down. By mistake, I once got my foot caught in the long cord and the female end pulled away from the other cable. From that time forward, it didn't seem to want to stay connected. To solve the problem, I made sure the female end and connected cable wasn't hanging over the end of the shelf. That seemed to work -- keeping the weight of the connected cable from pulling it out of the female end of this USB cable. If you cannot make this accommodation, you might want to find another cable in case this is an inherent problem with it. Otherwise, I've been happy with it so far.

Upside: I can now charge my iPhone while reading in bed without the fear of pulling the lightning connector out or having the iPhone pulled from grip and dropping to a hard floor.
The apple lightning cable that is provided is just long enough to seem useful, but just short enough to make you curse having to use your phone when plugged into a electrical socket of normal height. With this USB extender you can increase your range of motion while charging up to 9 feet in diameter for less then 6 bucks. You can now sit in the middle of your couch while ignoring your family! Or if you are outside your house you might not have to sit on the floor next to an outlet in your suit waiting for it to charge.
Downside: I now I have no built in control to stop reading when my iPhone reaches 10%. Which means I have to now convince myself that getting to bed before 2am is more important than finishing book 4 of series x, and downloading and starting book 5. Needless to say if I was a man looking to point blame at my recent resurrection of insomnia, I would have the kindle app and this USB extender to help shift the blame away from my own lack of self control. Kudos to you amazon.

Love amazon basics! No cut fingers on crappy clamshell packaging of a 300% marked up cable at Walmart.
It is nice to have a few of these things lying arround as so may things charge as well as use data via USB. When Mario is running out of charge on the DS, I don't have to search for a plug or the wall charger. Just slap this puppy into my iPhone charger and go kick some mustoom butt.
