The headset is comfortable and the ear cuffs do not have that fake leather stuff that eventually starts falling off. The volume of the headset was appropriate and decent had it not been riddled with static. Overall it was comfortable but sadly was broken. I have returned the item for a replacement and am hoping the next one I get isn't used and/or damaged. I will update when the next one arrives.
Received replacement with the same issue. The 3.5mm is faulty. Don't waste your money on these, you'll be disappointed. I wanted to like these headphones because the design is simple and doesn't look ridiculous like most gaming headsets. It is comfortable and the nylon cushions are nice. They just cheaped out on the cord that runs from the headset to the controller and the 3.5mm jack. Sadly, that makes the headset complete garbage. If you buy these you might as well just pull $30 out of your pocket and start it on fire instead. Save yourself the hassle.
Fairly comfortable to wear and solid.
Has a relatively short (4') cord and a mic open on both sides so it will pick up random sounds. Sound quality isn't good, it sounds both distant and washed out.
1. This could be a defect with my specific headset but even lightly touching the mute switch will cause a loud electronic buzzing sound unheard by the wearer but heard by anyone you're in a call with.
2. sound easly escapes the headset and goes into the microphone so people youre chating with will be able to faintly hear whatever is coming through your headset. i dont belive this is just my volume being to loud because my previous headset did not have this problem. i think it may be due to the headset being very light and hollow feeling allowing sound to easly make its way to the mic.
The sound quality is good for a $30 headset and the mic quality wasnt too off from my $100 microphone. If you plan on using both the headset and mic on PC you will need a 3.5mm female to 2Male splitter cable
If it wasn't for the mic issue these would get 5 stars. The cushioning around the ear pieces is really comfortable, and the headset fits well on both myself and my daughter without pressure or pinching. There is also a decent level of noise cancelling going on... According to her not being able to hear me call her when she's wearing them 🙄😐
I would like to recommend these, but with the caveat that you may have some glitching going on down the road. Like anything, I think there can be great products that have random issues or defects that don't impact the the entire line. I just happened to be unlucky enough this time to get one of the defective ones. Based on the reviews I checked before buying, I didn't see this as a common recurring issue.

However, this really is a false economy because this unit feels cheap, plastic and weak, with fairly sub-par sound quality too, so I doubt this will last very long and I'll need to buy another.
Edit: The unit has been returned because the side came off and broke completely during use, within two weeks of buying it.
Spend more on a decent headset and avoid this product like the plague.
... did not work, especially for the price alone (£8.36) If they had worked I would have given them a 5 star review. Sadly Amazon wanted me to wait until I had returned them before issuing a refund, yes kid is distraught...
Purchased as a replacement for my sons headset which is the third one he has got through.
He is using it on an Xbox one for gaming and says it’s decent sound quality and the microphone functions well. He says it’s comfortable and has taken to using it to listen to movies on his Ipad for several hours a day.
It lasted less than a day due to the headphone jack snapping off inside his XBox controller....(which I had to take apart to get the remains of the jack out, fun...NOT)
I have arranged for it to be returned, whether I get my money back is another thing, but it is way to flimsy to be used plugged into a controller.
