For the price, you can't beat this sit-stand converter.
I'm a digital artist who has been seeking an affordable and portable way to stand up while I work. This fits the bill nicely. One of the main draws of this converter for an illustrator is that it DOESN'T sacrifice the primary surface area for a keyboard deck. This is a no frills slab with plenty of room to fit a monitor, keyboard, drawing tablet, and a mouse. I keep my keyboard resting on the foot of my monitor stand, and my drawing tablet at the front.
If you are looking at this as a digital illustrator, I can not say how it would handle a massive Cintiq, but it will work well for most drawing tablets. There is some spring to the desk when one is leaning heavily on it, but it is negligible. This is a toolless converter, so it's ready to go right out of the box. Adjusting the height of the desk is smooth and controlled; you don't have to worry about a desk under load (within weight capacity) bearing all of its weight on your hands when you raise or lower it. In terms of portability, the unit is heavy, but it is portable in the sense that it'll easily go where you want it to without the fuss of disassembly or the worry that it will not be able to fit through doorways or narrow spaces.
For reference, I am just under six feet, and the maximum height for this stand is more than enough.
I would say that unless you're looking for maximum ergonomic support/keyboard decks, this desk converter is perfect for anyone spending a lot of time at the computer looking to improve their health by standing more often while working or just during general computer use - highly recommended.
