While it may work for more traditional use-cases, it did not work when attempting to extend my Oculus Rift CV1; screen would not turn on. This is most likely because it does not supply the power the headset typically gets straight from the HDMI port on my 1070 GPU.
This review is not to criticize this cable, since it didn't claim to work for my use. It is more to warn others that may want it for the Rift, so that they do not waste their money.

Increase your WIFI signal to the Firestick

This HDMI cord increased my WIFI speed up to 296 Mbps out of my Max modem speed of 300Mbps. My Modem ( Infi---y) sits upstairs in my bedroom and the TV is downstairs below my bedroom. I placed the Firestick on the TV stand in FRONT of the TV like an Android TV Box sits. I'm using the 4k Firestick. The older ones only run 100 Mbps max. I read another person's comments and decided to try this one. I'm 💯 Satisfied with this HDMI cord. It is thicker than a regular HDMI cord and I do get Beautiful 4K movies and it will help with your Buffering issues as advertised.. Once you get a Better signal from behind the TV you WILL GET A FASTER SPEED. You can believe that because other people will not tell you that. I just ordered 2 more for my Brother who has Very Slow Speed and week signal. Enjoy watching your Firestick NOW... Darrell...

They're not amazingly flexible due to the large conductors required for HDMI 2 over a long distance. Make sure to only buy an extension as long as you need as they don't coil up very well.
It solved an issue with the Fire TV Stick. When directly behind the TV, the metal in the TV blocked the wireless signal. This extension cable allowed the fire TV stick to be positioned away from the TV.
