I got these several months ago because I learned the hard way that you cannot use two active HDMI cables in series, so I needed passive cables. I purchases the 2-pack 3-ft (passive) cables.

I currently have an active HDMI cable running from my computer to my received, one of this item from the receiver to my connection in-wall, which connects to another active HDMI cable (with the receiver in between the two active cables, it's not an issue), then the other one of this item from the other end of the in-wall cable to the TV. I have used this setup for almost 4 months, and it works great! I have HD audio and HD video! The device communication back channel also works great - when I turn my TV off, my receiver knows it, and I am able to have them use their smart functions to control each other.

I have not yet tested the ethernet over HDMI function, and probably never will, since I have no desire for my TV to be network-connected. Therefore, you do not have to have ethernet/network functionality in order for these to work for just audio and video!

I also no longer use the smart device communication function between a couple sentences prior. I just prefer to control my devices individually. Still works great for the way I use it!

Do NOT buy higher priced HDMI cables as these are absolutely perfect for hooking up equipment to your TV or home theatre amplifier. I recently purchased a new Yamaha RX V677 HTR and use these with my Samsung 50" HDTV to control the inputs. I use Amazon cables exclusively and the picture and utility of the TV and HTR is perfect.

The cables come well packaged, and the plug ends of the cables are covered with a thin polyurethane sheet to keep them free of contaminants until they are put into use. Three feet is the right length for most of my equipment as they all reside in an entertainment center and the shorter length keeps things uncluttered.

This is a great value for an HDMI cable and I would recommend them highly, regardless of your application. Review after review says that there is no difference in quality between high-priced HDMI cables and those sold at this price. I concur, and would highly recommend these cables.

This was working great for the first two months and then one day just died on me. After reading more of the reviews I figured out that it was my fault. I got the too long one for my laptop-TV connection, and second mistake was that I plugged it and unplugged it from the laptop constantly. If you get one and want it to work ,then hook it up to the computer that wil be your assigned TV media source. It will probably last long time.I would definitelly buy it again ,if that helps anyone.

These work well, no failures yet. For tight AV racks, these short cables are ideal. No need to coil up 6 feet of cable when the components are only inches apart. 6 feet used to be my default, now I realize they are overkill. I will buy a long cable if I ever need one. Cable itself is fine. HDMI is all digital. There is really nothing you can do to improve a cable except maybe build quality for durability. I don't continuously plug and unplug so I can't speak to that. However, they seem well built. Also, the high speed has handled what I needed. But I haven't pushed with 3D or 4k. These are supposed to be compatible if I ever use them for it. I've bought so many cables in my life. Digital ones really don't need to be anything special. Save some money and get these basics. I've used unbranded cables that require some jiggling. These always work.

Good quality cable for the price, very reasonable. I have had good luck with the Amazon "Basics" cable. They have been quality cables at reasonable prices. Cables, whether HDMI, USB, etc. are some of the most marked up products at the chain stores. Outer shell is gold flash and the contacts are also gold flash, They could be gold plate, but nowadays its gold flash, which is just thinner, but still gold and still makes the surface corrosion resistant. Use this to connect HDMI from Fujitsu laptop to Samsung LCD TV and use as a second monitor/screen.

In passato credevo che un cavo HDMI valesse l'altro ma dopo aver preso una bella fregatura ho capito che non è così. Quel cavo, costatomi ben 12€ in un noto store di elettronica, si è rivelato di bassa qualità: risultato, ha iniziato a darmi problemi di connettività, intermittente prima e inesistente poi.

Nonostante un'iniziale diffidenza, quindi, mi sono lasciato convincere dall'ottimo prezzo e dalle recensioni tutte positive ed ho comprato una coppia di cavi HDMI Amazon Basics (lunghezza 0,9 m) a soli 7€. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso: eccellente qualità ad un prezzo veramente incredibile.
I cavi sono di ottima fattura, rigidi e ben saldi in corrispondenza dei connettori HDMI, il diametro è più consistente rispetto a quelli che ho trovato in commercio in diversi negozi di elettronica per via del maggior spessore della gomma di rivestimento (quindi maggiore protezione); sono dotati di cappuccio in plastica con cui preservare i connettori HDMI in caso di mancato.

Servizio di Amazon come sempre impeccabile, pacco arrivato in meno di 2 giorni.

Estamos ante un cable HDMI normal y corriente pero con un detalle que lo hace muy atractivo: un precio imbatible. En mi caso por 7,5 € tuve dos cables de 0,9 metros, es decir menos de 4 euros por cable.

Además la sensación que transmite este cable es muy buena, y tiene un grosor considerable por lo que cabría esperar acorde con su precio lejos de la imagen de fragilidad que transmiten cables de precio parecido o incluso superior.
Su comportamiento es más que correcto, transmiten video en Full HD y progresivo sin problemas, con una calidad tanto de video como de audio más que correctas y sin interferencias. Es cierto que con longitudes tan cortas es más fácil mantener la integridad de la señal pero igualmente hay que destacarlo.

Un elemento a tener en cuenta es que es un cable que cumple con el standard HDMI 1.4. Por lo tanto quien piense adquirirlo tiene que tener claro para qué lo va a usar, ya que HDMI ya está en el standard 2.0b y para quien necesite un cable con las especificaciones de éste último este cable no le va a servir. Lo mismo se puede decir con el standard HDCP 2.2 que en teoría tampoco es compatible con el HDMI 1.4.
Hoy en día la mayoría de nuevos receptores AV y otros productos de audio y video ya vienen con ambos standares implementados y por lo tanto hay que estar muy atento a qué se le va a exigir a este cable, ya que, aunque los puertos HDMI 2.0 son retrocompatibles con los perfiles anteriores y por lo tanto admiten este cable, muchas de las características implementadas por esta versión del standard no serán aprovechadas.
Como ejemplo yo tengo un receptor Onkyo cuyos puertos son compatibles con ambos standares, HDMI 2.0 y HDCP 2.2, y puedo usar este cable sin problemas, pero si me comprase una televisión 4K y quisiera transmitir video a 50p entonces debería recurrir a un cable 2.0, ya que uno 1.4 no admite el ancho de banda que exige dicha resolución.

Otro aspecto a tener en cuenta es si para longitudes más largas, de más de 5 metros, la calidad del cable permitirá mantener la integridad de la señal al 100%. Ese es un elemento que cada uno debe considerar. Lo único que puedo afirmar es que el de 0,9 m sí lo hace.

En resumen, un cable de 0,9 m absolutamente recomendable por el precio que tiene y del que sólo hay que tener en cuenta si su estándar 1.4 se adapta a nuestras exigencias.
