This Latest Order Was My 4th For This Size Battery Of The Amazon Basics Brand

My latest order was the fourth and largest order for this size battery of the Amazon Basics brand yet. We use this size for so many things but now we have a device that uses 8 at a time and although the batteries have staying power, this item is a video device, and it not only takes still photos but videos as well.

The expiration date on the batteries is 2034 and of all the orders we have used so far, none of them have been bad out of the box. Also, unlike other brands we have used, we have not had one of the Amazon Basics leak. I always test the batteries before using them and have never had one that did not test full strength. I have also noted that although these are not rechargeable, they do seem to recover a bit of their power on their own if you let them sit without use for several days.

We have often found that we are able to use the batteries in some other non-video device if we take them out and let them sit for a few days. The device we use the most of them in is a trail camera and they specifically advise you to put new batteries in it if the battery status indicator falls below 80% and we do get a lot of videos and still photos before we have to change the batteries out. In some instances, I have seen where the trail cam was still able to perform well even when the battery status dropped to 60%.

The recovery of the battery power as referred to above does often happen within the trail cam if nothing triggers it for a day or two. These are an excellent value and something we will continue using in the future without hesitation.

Great price and quality. I find these are on par or exceed Duracell in quality and power. I have found the current Amazon brand batteries actually leak less then the Duracell, Energizer, or Kirklands. As along as Amazon keeps up the quality level they will be my go to for batteries.
