3.0 out of 5 stars No resealable storage bag. Prints very stringy and saggy.
By Allen Bauer on November 29, 2019
The description mentioned a resealable plastic bag. There was none. While it was wrapped in plastic with a desiccant pack, it wasn't a vacuum sealed bag, let alone resealable. The older AmazonBasics filament (which looked to have been made by Overture) did have a nice thick plastic resealable bag.

Update 1:

Finally tried a print with this filament. I printed with the same exact settings used for the older AmazonBasics filament and it turned out way worse. Lots of sagging on overhangs and heavy stringing. I immediately printed the same gcode with some Overture PETG and it's much better. I will try with lower temperatures and/or more cooling.

The surface finish is excellent.

Update 2:
Got a chance to adjust the print temperature and other settings. When printing at 230C, and slightly higher retraction settings, the stringing almost completely vanished. The filament does droop significantly for bridges. May need to reduce the flow factor for bridges and thinner overhangs. Overall this filament shows promise. Will keep the rating where it is for now.

[Edit 20/07/2016]

4.0 out of 5 stars Molto bello ma l'effetto traslucente si ottiene solo a temperature basse
Reviewed in Italy on January 22, 2020
