Set of 3 for Versatile Use
Handy for a variety of cooking and baking tasks, the three-piece set includes a small one-sided mini spatula, a medium spatula, and a large spatula. The spatula heads offer just enough flexibility to effectively scrape into difficult edges and corners.
Use the small spatula for scraping out contents from narrow-mouth jars, like jam, mustard, or mayonnaise, or for scraping brownie batter from beaters. The medium spatula works well for scraping cake batter off the side of a bowl and into a baking pan.
The large spatula makes easy work of moving heavier mixtures like cookie dough back to the middle of the bowl or for hand-mixing ingredients or sautéing vegetables. The large spatula’s head covers more surface space in a single pass and also works well for scooping and serving.
Plastic Hanging Hooks
The spatulas’ contoured plastic handles offer a comfortable, secure grip, and they come with a hole at the end for convenient hanging storage. The spatulas can also be stored in a drawer.
The three-piece set of AmazonBasics silicone spatulas offers a durable design that cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

A spatula is one of those kitchen staples that once you have one, you wonder how you ever lived without it. The handle should be long enough (at least 7-8") to reach into boiling pots and deep batter bowls, The head of the spatula should be made of high quality silicone and should be flexible enough to reach into tight curves and corners and rigid enough to be able to scrape thick batter off the side of a bowl. The silicone head should fit securely on the handle and not come off easily. The spatula should be dishwasher safe and easy to clean.
This set is disappointing because:
-The silicone heads are made from very thin material that is too limp and flexible to be able to do an adequate job of scraping batter off the side of a bowl or minced vegetables off the sides of a food processor. I started using the small spatula, when that proved to be insufficient because it bent too easily. I then switched to the larger one which was also too limp to pull the batter off the side of a bowl. Finally, I switched to the spoon shaped one. The spoon shaped spatula was better but the head started to come off the handle as I pulled it out of the batter bowl. I then went to my five year old Cuisinart spatula and finished off the job with that.
-The handles are 6 1/2" and are too short for many jobs.
-The small, one sided spatula would be perfect for scraping out the inside of a narrow bottle, but the head is too limp and the handle is too short.
-The spoon-shaped spatula is too limp to hold the spoon shape and flattens out when in use.
If you can't get to a store to check out the quality of a spatula prior to purchase, I highly recommend you pick a good brand such as Cuisinart or OXO. It is far preferable to have a single, good quality utensil than three mediocre ones.
They are flexible to exactly the right degree for these tasks.
I really like the unusual color combination of translucent amber and gray, as well.
I wash these by hand as I work.
I never use silicone for stirring or serving hot food, so I can't speak to the performance of the spatulas when used with heat.
UPDATE! I've grown so accustomed to using these spatulas! It is normal for me to grab one for flipping eggs - I rarely use my flipper ones any more...
