We don't usually have any issues with these wires but sadly got one that was unfinished and defective. if it wasn't for the hassle of having to try and get a replacement for the defective wire it wouldn't be that big of a problem. Expecting the customer to have to go out of their way to bring the item to a return location or having to pay to have the item picked up.

Making an edit: Moved up to 4 stars. My USB port died on my device this was being used for and that was the issue not the cable. It's working flawlessly after repair the device. I'd give 5 stars if it was more flexible.

Was using to replace another cable that I had to use an adapter with for Mini USB. The other cable worked fine but wanted to do away with adapters.

This cable fits loosely in all ports and is allowing 0 data transfer. I'm glad it was cheap as it avoids any real monetary loss. Won't buy any more from basics.
