R. S. Chaney says:
I couldn't possibly agree more. Reviewing the film itself in the proper forum is fine. Using the page for the as of yet unreleased DVD is annoying.

K. Tibbetts says:
Some of that is innocent, no doubt. Amazon usually has pages for the theatrical releases, which allow people to write reviews. Those reviews eventually are merged into the various DVD release pages.

Andrew Verry says:
Also, people use it to rant about stuff they dont' like, even if they dont' own it.

Another huge problem with Blu Ray is nobody talks about picture or audio quality.

There are some reviewers that pick up the movies early. I did write a brief rant on the IRON MAN Blu-Ray that was being sold in NYC today. It does not play and Paramount screwed up their biggest release for the fall (next to the re-tooled versions of the GODFATHER). I understand your frustration regarding the reviewers that complain about the theatrical version versus the home video version. I think its pathetic when a major distribution company can't get their act together.
