Good bottles, inconsistent sellers

The spray bottles themselves? Great! The tinted glass will protect UV damage to the contents inside, the glass has a wonderful hefty feel to it, feels much nicer than plastic and is somewhat more eco friendly. The spray nozzles have all worked great for me, no complaints there. I have bought these bottles off this listing about seven times over the past year and a half.

The reason I chose three out of five stars is because this listing is filled by any one of about six random sellers. Some of these sellers are great! Some are terrible. About half the sellers ship these bottles in a nice box made for these spray bottles- just the right size with dividers so the glassware doesn't smash together. Another seller just sort of threw them in a box with some wadding paper and hoped for the best- ended up with two broken bottles. You also get a lot of variations in the types of caps and bottles from these different sellers, you can tell there's a couple different manufacturers that make these. One seller here ships dirty, used bottles which is actually what was the final straw for me, I stopped buying the bottles from Amazon because of the inconsistent service. It's a shame because the price is really good and I haven't found anyplace selling them as cheap, but I am willing to pay more off-site to ensure I get a consistent quality product and a consistent buying experience.

I have bought these a few times and they worked wonderfully for homemade air fresheners that I made using distilled water and essential oils. I am starting to make other items as well. The only reason I marked 4 stars is in my most recent purchased box, the tops were obviously the wrong ones and were too long, but I just snipped the bottoms, because I need them for Christmas presents and didn't have time to return and reorder. Normally, a very good item, and the ones that I cut the bottoms off still work fine. The tops are black instead of white. The seem to fit the top fine though. Good price, also.

UPDATED TO ADD: along with the original problems I had with these spray bottles, now the 3/6 that I have used have all stopped working. Not even sure I want to bother with the other 3. Very disappointed. I bought these to use for my essential oil concoctions. While they were fine for things like linen sprays and air fresheners, they were not great for things like facial toner sprays, bug sprays, etc because the spray nozzle dispenses the product to either side but hardly anything comes out in the middle. When I tried to use this on my face, all the product just when into my hair and the air surrounding me and hardly any made it onto my skin. The toner and bug sprays were what I was most excited to make so I’m quite disappointed.

Perfect for essential oils!

I attended a DIY essential oils class a while back and came home with a Thieves hand sanitizer in one of these bottles. I absolutely loved it and had to make more to give as gifts. The nozzles on these are perfect for essential oils and spray perfectly for hand sanitizer, countertop spray and even room/fabric freshening spray; not so fine that it's worthless, and not so heavy it soaks whatever you're spraying. My next use for these with be frankincense facial sprays! I highly recommend these bottles!
My current DIY hand sanitizer recipe:
-10-12 drops Thieves essential oil
-fill the to the top with vodka

These bottles are the perfect size for personal bottles of Non-Toxic Bug Repellent for hunters! My husband did some turkey hunt guiding last week and the bugs are already bad in Florida. But they did not bother him at all with these bottles of bug repellent--he even gave one to each of his customers!

Just mix 1 oz distilled water & 1 oz witch hazel in one of these bottles, then add 5 drops YLEO Thieves, Purification & Citronella and 3 drops YLEO Lavender, Lemon & Peppermint. Shake well & spritz as needed. Safe, Non-Toxic (and smells good too!)

I've bought these a few times, from different Amazon sellers. I haven't had any problems - the tubes inside have all been quite long enough to reach the bottom of the bottle. The sprayers always work (sometimes I get a dud that needs a little coaxing and sweet talking, but it'll work eventually), they all have caps. The glass is pretty strong and doesn't break if you drop it, it suffers the abuse found in the bottom of my purse without complaint. I make hand sanitizing spray with essential oils, this is a perfect size to make 30 or so for christmas gifts for coworkers and teachers.

I bought these bottles for my own essential oil mixes (air freshener, body spray, etc) and for that purpose they work. I can forsee them not working so great with my thicker oils because of the fine sprayer pump. That's my mistake for not thinking of that before I bought them. Essential oils need to be protected from the light so the dark glass is a must. So far, all of the sprayers have worked and the plastic caps snap on and stay put. I really liked how they came packaged with each bottle in its own cardboard section, so they didn't smash into one another.

The size of these bottles were what I was wanting. The sprayer is relatively even, could be better, but does the trick. My only annoyance is that the stem is incredibly long. My roommate has started cutting hers as a result. I just leave mine the length they are and haven't had any problems, but you kind of have to hold it down as you twist the top on. I'd like to see them fix that because it's annoying. However, I would probably buy these again as they did what I wanted them to do.

The bottles are of really nice quality and actually a little bit bigger than I expected them to be. Having said that, they really need to do something about the spray pumps. I read the other reviews and despite having seen a few bad reviews about the lids, decided to purchase anyway. I was using these bottles to put sprays in and had them labeled with a paper label, by the time I got the bottles to where I was going with the spray in them the lids had leaked and the labels I had put on were wet. Great bottles if you are just using them for yourself, but the lids make them not good to sell/use as gifts.
