Anyone who wants to understand the true agenda of Islam needs to read this book. The same people who will tell you that "this kind of thing can never happen, Islam is a religion of peace" were the ones who would have told you nobody would ever fly planes into buildings. The book describes a scenario which is already on it's way to becoming reality in the US.

Don Brockette has a personal and intimate familiarity with the issue, and unless more people read and understand this book, he will end up being a prophet. Read this book. Make your friends and family read it. And open your eyes.

America Falling is a page-turning roller coaster ride that provides a glimpse into what could someday become our reality. Terrorists are hitting "soft targets" (malls, schools, etc.) all over the country within a week's time and no one feels safe anywhere. The main character, Elliott Cahill, steps in the middle of the attack in Austin, TX and takes out the terrorist mid-act. Unfortunately Cahill's heroic efforts now put himself and his family at risk for retribution from the very people that have no boundaries when it comes to furthering their cause. Throughout the book, the reader is constantly put in the position to question whether or not he/she would have the courage to do the same thing because the characters are just like you and me (regular people living their everyday lives). There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader interested, and while fairly graphic in detail, the writer is true to the plot and the realism of how these events would unfold. I can't wait to read what happens next, though I hope that -- for all of our sakes - it remains in Don's books instead of the newspaper.

Mr Brockette has painted a distubingly possible picture of what could happen in America. The story moves along at a good pace and the characters are believable, mostly normal people just trying to live their lives in peace and quiet, but suddenly thrust into situations they don't understand and quickly have to figure out how to cope. The "good guys" aren't always good, Elliott especially has moments of less than admirable emotion, but these are understandable in the context of his character, this is a man protecting his family.
I read this through in one sitting because I simply HAD to know how the twists and turns played out, and closed the book with "Wow." (A good wow!)
The back cover states that this is not for the Politically Correct, and this is true, but approach it with an open mind and it will have you thinking.

Mr. Brockette has written a story of coordinated attacks across the country that were calculated to strike horror into the heart of every American. What makes the story so disturbing is the very real possibility that it could happen exactly the Mr. Brockette describes. The story is well-paced, and unfolds in a manner that makes it easy t read and believe. The characters are people we all know, which makes for a very real read. The story careens to a shattering close, and leaves the promise for even more mayhem and destruction in the next installment. You can stick your head in the sand and pretend that this isn't happening, or you can read it, and understand what is likely to come.

'America Falling' needs to be required reading for Jr. High School and/or High School.

I just finished this book and, I have to admit, it packs a good punch. Someone else said it was scary, and the last book that I read that sent the same chills through my spine was 'Silence of the Lambs', but for different reasons.

It's not a perfect work and sometimes the writing style and secondary content seems a little juvenile and predictable, but the bottom line and the obvious reason for this novel to be born and nurtured is that America is not safe. Period.

Looking at out borders, at our schools, at our personalities as Americans.... We are SO OPEN for attacks, illegals passing over borders, information loss to bad people, and the paper mask of security.... It's enough to make anyone ill. We, the West, Americans, are so trustworthy and faithful of humankind in general. And we are surprised constantly when somone doesn't abide by the same beliefs!

WHY would someone kill children? Because we are infidels and America has to fall to her knees.
Why would someone murder innocent people, bystanders? Because it would harm America.
Of course I am talking about terrorism and Radical Islamic Fundamentalists.

Mr. Brockette tells an intriguing story. Most of it is extremely realistic, practically listing the weak areas of our systems. He's not fanatsizing or even exaggerating *most* of the time. Some of the secondary story lines are a little predictable and kind of cheesy, but it's never disappointing. I, myself, am NOT a fan of action movies, so some of this book was unbelievable, but the real point of this novel is not funny at all. The serious sections are extremely to the point and heart wrenching.

I read one part and thought, "Duh!

"America Falling" was not what I first expected it to be. Definately an action packeed novel that takes place in current times. I found it to be mind opening to what many Americans take for granted everyday. Though graphic in some parts, I feel that it was a damn good story and look forward to possible sequels, though I would read another book by this author even if not related to this story.
