Some of the articles are incredibly relevant today. On page 121 is a really interesting and thought provoking article on abortion. On page 147 is an article about black on black crime and also police shootings involving blacks. There are articles about the efficacy of drug laws. There are various discussions about the minimum wage and how various government regulations actually result in hurting lower skilled people they appear to be intended to help. Mr. Willimas also explains that corporate subsidies are just another side of the same coin, driving up prices, making food stamps and welfare more necessary.
These articles do become a little bit repetitive so I only read one every day or so over a long period of time. I am looking forward to reading more of Mister Williams' actual text book material in the future. Mr. Williams has faced a lot of critisism in his life and has weathered the storm. Men like him tend to develope both strength of will and intellectual gravitas.
