Editorial Reviews
Review
''As Mark states, 'The time has come for all of us, the people, to take control of our energy future here in America.' He and I have discussed the importance of moving inevitably toward a hydrogen economy. I believe, after reviewing all the energy options presented in his book, it should move us closer to achieving that possibility. The future is now for us and our children. We cannot wait any longer.'' --Woodrow W. Clark II, Ma, PhD; Qualitative economist, Clark Strategic Partners; Corecipient of the Nobel Peace Prize
''America's energy policy cannot simply be cheap energy. Mark Stansberry tells us how to break out and assume an energy-secure and dynamic future economy.'' --Frank Keating, Governor of Oklahoma, 1995-2003; President, American Bankers Association

- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2012Drawing upon a lifetime of energy industry experience, Mark Stansberry makes a complex subject easy to understand, while presenting a strong argument for a comprehensive national energy policy. In this time of bitter partisan divides, America Needs America's Energy is a clarion call for cooperation among many interest groups to use common sense to achieve a balanced energy policy that relies on a variety of energy resources to finally reach energy independence for America. Most of all, it draws upon the best of American values by advocating the involvement of all Americans in developing a national energy policy "by the people and for the people" and providing a roadmap for the average American to understand the issues and get involved. Bravo, Mr. Stansberry!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2012There is that saying that it takes one person to make a difference. But can one person spark a revolution and change an entire system?
Mark A. Stansberry in his second book is making the case for a national energy policy. In his book, America Needs America's Energy: Creating Together the People's Energy Plan, Stansberry outlines the history, the issues, and the solution.
In this era of globalization, the United States is competing with the world in the petroleum resource. Stansberry makes the argument that the US needs a national energy policy.
From Richard Nixon to Obama the use of energy has been a piece meal approach. This national approach is not creating results.
What Stansberry in effect stages that "we the people" need to call for a national energy policy. A good template is in placed in this book as there is a section "creating the People's Energy Plan Together."
This book is a good starting point for those interesting in learning about the current state of energy today and discovering a path towards the end result of a national energy policy.
