It takes you from Oaxaca to Cabo to Ensenada. It speaks of traditions and celebrations and tips on traveling in Mexico.
The excerpt form "A Single Gringa..." was very interesting. I gifted my daughter with a copy because she's single and thinking of traveling around Mexico.
It also speaks to today's reality of the violence in Mexico making the readers know that there is violence but it's sensationalized by the press.
The book went a long way in giving me a better understanding of the country. I've heard rumors of a second volume or a sequel. I hope it's true.
