I received the package very quickly and was looking forward to completing my project using these, only to find they were only 90mm in diameter (at their widest point on the lid). Despite the box label listing them as 100mm, which was clearly a mistake, I decided to find out if it was just a one-off mistake and went through Amazon's replacement customer service (no complaints at all with that process; the service agent was very apologetic, polite and helpful) hoping to receive the actual item I'd ordered the second time around.
Again, they arrived in a very short time...but again, they are 90mm petri dishes marked as 100mm. I don't know where the screw up is happening along the line here, but I now have 20 petri dishes that are totally useless to me and I've already used up my patience trying to fix the issue.
If you're not looking for a specific size petri dish, these seem fine. A one star review is harsh considering that they're relatively decent other than being mislabeled and the wrong size, but since they're 100% useless to me, it's the only review I can reasonably give.
Shipping took longer than I expected but I received a notice from Amazon the delay was due to weather related problems. This was not a problem

plastic is a little to thin wish it would have twisted closed.Published 20 months ago by M. Bukowski
Great price, lid does NOT snap/snug into place, other than that, great for small class room / short term projects though.Published on May 13, 2014 by Will Bamber
I purchased these for use as pot saucers for 3 inch flower pots. They work fine for that purpose. I cannot say how they work as Petri Dishes.Published on March 29, 2014 by Christopher Robert Mohr
used for a child's mad scientist party. We used these to store "gak" in and I sent each child home with their creation in this! Read morePublished on December 26, 2013 by R. Stanley
