Well built and easy to assemble. At least I think easy to assemble because my wife put it together. The one thing I noticed is that every side of the stained wood pieces are smooth. We have some other shaker style furniture that we paid a lot of money for and the wood slats are really rough on the sides between them, like they were never sanded.
