Great! But not about the AG characters.

This is a great show about friendship, adventure , and exploring the world around you. However, there are some downsides. I am personally not a fan of these new shorts on amazon. I have nothing against amazon , they are totally fabsome , however, first impressions are EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Well, semi everything. And the Melody short did NOT make a good impression on me.(see my review on that . I gave it three stars). However, that is not too big of a deal to me. My real problem, is that this barely has anything to do with AG's newest character Z Yang. However, I don't know why I'm surprised! All the new American Girl shorts (except for the wellie wishers . if they count), have been NOTHING like the books. However, it does have some positive messages about friendship and family. This is a good video, it really is! I totally recommend it! However, it could have been better. I am a girl who is obsessed with AG and 10(ten). Thanks to my mom for letting me write this on her account. (:

Lessons Learned

Getting rid of your iPhone and electronic devices is difficult for everyone, but particularly for teens who are used these devices to communicate. This American Girl film gives us a nice short story about having fun and learning without electronics.

Paz, Z, and Drew were all participants in summer camp. However, this camp is like no Other.. No uniforms, no specifics chores or activities. Essentially you are on your own to find your way.
Rae the owner of this camp has confiscated all electronics. The campers are shocked and not sure what to do. Rae, Z and Drew all have specified talents and once they put their minds to work with the assistance of Jordan, a camp counselor, this works out very well. The search for their purpose is a little vague, and the path forward is problematic. I liked the storyline, but a longer video with more specificities would be great. The lessons Learned are important for all children. My seven year old granddaughter liked the film, but she also felt it was too short.

A fun movie about friends, smarts, and adventure.

This was a great relief from all the adult movies offered on Amazon. No one died or was murdered, no one was hurt by crazy people. It was just a simple story of 3 young ladies accessing their gifts of intellect and sharing them to solve a mystery. I loved that they were not afraid of being in the woods since kids today are getting farther away from nature and more into rote tech distractions like video games and social media.

I can really really relate to all the characters in their own special way. I can take the lesson follow your dreams for the rest of my life. I just loved it and never will forget the day I watched that show. It is the best thing I ever saw. Also, if you are looking if this is appropriate for your kid, it is totally appropriate. It's about the american girl doll Z going to steam camp and her awesome friends. They also learn to do things without phones which I think is helpful. There is this mystery person named Jordan who helps them on the way but then she goes missing and they have to use their steam skills to find her. This is the part were Jordan follows her dreams. It's a really good example for girls to follow.

Very cute and interesting!

I really liked this! It was such a cute and interesting story. It is pretty unique and different, and more interesting than a lot of of other kids' entertainment out there. This story was about science and thinking creatively, but also about the beauty of nature. And it also had a lesson about friendship!
