I didn't grow up in the 60's (I was born in 1985, lived as a teen in the late 90's and early 2000's), but that doesn't mean I couldn't feel a little nostalgic watching this. George Lucas really puts you in the minds of his protagonists in one night as they stroll around in their groovy cars; making mends, enjoying themselves, getting into trouble, finding the woman they love and so on; all to many classic rock songs, nice touch. Teenage years are a two-sided coin, for some it's their best years, for others it's the worst, and George Lucas really portrays the highs and lows of the last years of teeanage life all in one night, and it's amazing how much was put in. Great casting choices from Richard Dreyfuss, Paul Lamatt, pre-Han Solo Harrison Ford, and even the great Wolfman Jack appears as well. You could watch this once, twice, or infinetely, it gets better with every viewing!
